Red Cedar Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

The project was fraught with complications, but at every obstacle, Red Cedar came up with creative solution. I now have a new line, a second and more convenient interior water shut-off, an amazing new exterior faucet, and unbelievably great water pressure. This was absolutely stellar service at what I consider a very reasonable price for a complex problem. I will be calling these folks whenever I have a plumbing problem!

Justin came at 8am, as scheduled . He assessed the two outdoor faucets that leaked everytime in use. He explained the quote. Thomas was also on hand, too. Both worked real well together and showed pride in their work. One faucet had to be accessed in the inner wall in the dining room. The other faucet from the crawl space. They were buttoned up by 10am, cleaned up the drywall and around the faucets, checked for leaks and checked the water pressure. I'd call them again with no hesitation.

We called mid day on July 3rd, right before the holiday and Red Cedar Plumbing agreed to come that eve! This was a huge relief as I did not think we could get anyone on short notice before the holiday. They arrived, we’re very thorough in their inspection, and service nice our needs required special equipment, they offered to come back on the 4th of July. This was above and beyond exceptional service. They came back today (the 4th) and fixed the issues. They were informative, very fair in pricOmg and they will be my “go-to” plumbers from now on and I will recommend them to all of my friends. I felt very informed and well taken care of.

Got a prompt reply to online request for service. Scheduled for 6/26 8 to 10 am, had handicapped husband up and out of adjacent bedroom by 8am. Red Cedar did not show up, did not email or call to reschedule. When I reached them by phone was told they were very busy and couldn't come that day, rescheduled for next day. I canceled request and called Pioneer Plumbing (suggested by a friend) after office hours, received a call back at 8am the next morn. Their technician was at my door at 12noon, drain fixed by 12:30, at a lower price than Red Cedar had quoted.

They explained everything along the way.

They did a great job as they showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would do, and completed the job in a timely manner.

Needed a quick drain cleaning. They did a great job, I was just a bit surprised by the price. I haven't had this work done before and I was expecting the $100-275 that Angie's list suggests ([*** Link removed ***] They got the job done, though!

Our sink was totally plugged. We called and they were able to come on the same day! Sandy unplugged our drain and was very professional. He also checked several other the drains for any additional problems. Overall we were very pleased with this company. The price was reasonable and Sandy was very knowledgeable. We definitely would use them again.

I have now found my 'forever plumber'! Steve is a professional, knowledgeable and experienced plumber and did a fantastic job. I highly recommended Red Cedar Plumbing and will call them for my next project which will be a laundry renovation. They are now my 'go to' plumbing company and I will not look elsewhere after this exceptional experience!

Fantastic! There was a bit of a mis-step in the timing of the install so I had to wait longer than expected (2 hrs) but in the end it was a great job, great service and excellent experience!

It went great and there worker were very professional Sandy and his crew work very hard all day to get the job done in the house and had the main line done the next day very happy with there service.they were contracted by Repipe Specialists Inc.

Red Cedar Plumbing was acting as a sub-contractor for RePipe Specialists. We are so happy with our new pipes and water flow rate, compared to the old galvanized pipes we had! The job went fairly smoothly and the crew did pretty good work overall. They were courteous and respectful, covered work areas and hallways. They accommodated requests to locate fixtures where I wanted them to be. The job took a little longer than expected, and they had to come back the next day to complete a couple things that were missed during the main installation, and caught during final walkthrough. Room for improvement: Better planned pipe runs with fewer connections. Less severe cutting into the existing wall and ceiling framing. A little more thorough clean up, but don't take parts that were supposed to be left for the customer! Also, a couple days after the job the, P-Trap for the kitchen sink came loose and leaked - I had to clean up the water and fix the drain connection.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received. All my questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner via telephone and text prior to the actual service. They were willing to come out right away, but as it wasn't an emergency and my work schedule didn't permit that, they worked with me to find a time that was more convenient for me. Sandy was not only professional but personable. He communicated clearly what he was doing and why.

Came on same day we contacted him so that was good. We thought price was $129 but he said $179. We do not think he provided good value or information. Repaired valve with plastic push on sleeve in wall that we do not want to cover behind wallboard. He said copper piping and shower pipe was bad, not too code and he couldnt work on them. Also said shower pipe was rusted and would need complete replacement. Another plumber replace plastic sleeve with soldered copper piping and fixed shower with new washer.

Red Cedar Plumbing sent someone to see what was needed before scheduling a plumber. They were flexible in working around my schedule on the day they came to do the repair. The plumber was very professional in his manner, dress and customer service. He was efficient and explained what was needed to me and he and his co-worker also wore shoe protectors when they were in my house. The valve had a slow drip that required a return visit. They took care of the problem as soon as they could when I called them. Our house is over 25 years old so tub stoppers available did not work. The plumber ordered a new stopper to be delivered to our house and he will return if we are unable to install it ourselves. The plumber's wife handles phone calls for their business. She was helpful and very pleasant to work with. My repair was a simple one but I would use their company again if I needed a plumber.

Sandy is very responsive, always quick returning my calls and text messages even in the evening after 8 pm. Very professional - showed me the new part and warranty it for 10 years. He did a good job on replacing my water pressure reducing valve. He is supper fast and the price is very reasonable.

The work was expertly done and completed on schedule. I would definitely hire them again. Very professional throughout - trustworthy.

He snaked out the outgoing line, warning me in advance it might not work because it's an old thing called a "johnson t" which is used for draining instead of it going through the disposal. Perhaps most importantly, he pointed out that the cap on the cleanout he put the snake down didn't have any holes in it. That cap is what's suppose to allow the pressure to be relieved if the line is clogged so you don't get water all over the kitchen. But it had no holes in it, so the pressure couldn't relieve itself. The dishwasher now drains correctly. Maybe because of the snaking, but I think because he thought to drill a few holes so the air pressure couldn't build up and ****** drainage.

Plumber was very punctual, services were performed professionally.service charge was very nominal. Will hire again.
