+ -1 moreAfter reviewing a written quotation with the owner, I decided to proceed and paid 1/2 in advance per terms of quotation. I selected date for installation so I could be home. I was worried when installer arrived a little late in the day (11:30 am), but the installation was completed that same day and the furnace was running around 5 pm when the installer left. All materials for the old furnace were removed from the premises by the installer. The balance of price was paid to the installer on the day of installation per terms of quotation. This company had repaired my old furnace twice. I was so pleased to be dealing with a quality company that I did not obtain competitive quotes for the new furnace; I decided their price was reasonable and no need to waste time with other quotes.
Description of Work: Replace existing gas furnace with new TRANE 80,000 BTU furnace with dual speed blower. Includes new Honeywell thermostat connected to existing wiring and new filter rack for 16 x 20 x 4 pleated filter.

+ -1 moreTechnician called shortly before arriving to confirm directions, arrived on-time and got right to work. He estimated an hour to an hour and a half for work, and it took just over an hour. He explained what he did and the status of my units. The labor charge was almost $20 over the estimate on the phone though. This might be because I have an A/C unit and not a heat pump, but I wouldn't think it would be.
Description of Work: Yearly, routine maintenance on gas furnace and A/C unit. Technician checked for cleanliness, motors and electrical, and operation of both units.

+ -1 moreNOR PAC WAS QUICK TO REPOND TO OUR TO CALL. THEY SENT A PERSON OUT THE NEXT DAY TO TROUBLE SHOOT AN DIAGNOSE OUR A/C. THE PART WAS ORDERED AND REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS. THE FEE WAS APPROPRIATE FOR THE LABOR DONE.
Description of Work: TROUBLE SHOOTED AND REPAIRED EXISTING AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR. FOUND BROKEN PART TO BE UNDER WARRANTY, AND DID NECESSARY PAPERWORK NEEDED TO GET NEW PART UNDER WARRANTY.
