Description of Work: Cleaned gutters. Price did not include hauling away debree. My bad. This is the second time we have used this company.

Description of Work: We have a flat carport roof which is also railed upper deck. It is need of resurfacing with a waterproof membrane or torch-down surface. While Guardian had done the main roof of our house in 2015 and we were generally pleased with the work, we will not use Guardian again. Why? An estimator came out on March 1, 2016, to look at the scope of work for the upper deck/carport roof. Today is March 12 and, despite follow-up phone calls to Guardian, we still do not have a written quote for the work. Moreover, when the estimator was here, he told us "you're not going to like the price," and also proceeded to add that we would have to remove and replace all the upstairs deck railing as part of the job, as well as replace an upstairs sliding glass door that leads to the deck. We've since learned that neither of these is the case. While we weren't thrilled with the price based on a brief follow-up phone call we made to the estimator, what we like even less is the offhand way we're being treated by Guardian. We spent $15,000 on our main roof with Guardian in 2015 and we expect better communication and professionalism. Perhaps Guardian has enough business and doesn't need or want ours. Or perhaps they've become complacent. Either way, getting this project completed is important to us, even if it's not important to Guardian.

Description of Work: semi annual blow off of the roof. WE have a service contract to meet the requirements of the 50 year warranty on the roof they installed several years ago.

Description of Work: Good workmanship but terrible communication - in terms of what was to be done, when they would be there, etc. Really made the project problematic.

Description of Work: replaced four skylights, replaced two rubber boots on pipes on the roof and spread no moss over the roof to get rid of the moss. Replaced several shingles. Great job. Matt was great. One skylight needed to be measured and ordered special and it took an extra two phone calls to get the tech to come out to measure it; should have been done without call. Otherwise, they did a fabulous job and were very professional.

Description of Work: So far so good. We have a temporary repair so our roof isn't leaking into our house and total replacement in February scheduled. We were asked to put about half the total cost down as a lock in time/price. We have been satisfied so far. We will keep you posted as we get competed.

Description of Work: Guardian did a good job cleaning my roof, but they did a terrible job in cleaning up the debris that was cleaned off the roof. They offered to come out and clean it up. I declined their offer. I told them it should have been cleaned up properly the first time.

Description of Work: It was just ok, they matched a lower price from another roofer. Onsite crew was ok, their schedule was rather all over the place. They ran out of metal twice. A one week job ran over three. Some of the time extension was due to my roof having more damage than scoped, most wasn't. Painted the exposed wood at the last minute before a rain storm, so some areas need repainting. To be fair the agreed to do that, however, due to weather that hasn't happened yet. The roof itself looks great, the problem was in the communication and follow through.

Description of Work: First Guardian thoroughly inspected my roof and recommended 3 things: a) Cleaning to remove moss; b) repair some damaged shingles and some cracking vent pipes; c) treat the roof to prevent the moss from returning. The inspector took pictures so that I could see the areas that needed work. These things were all done in the order listed. Guardian provided excellent communication and arrived on the dates and times promised. The technicians that did the work were professional and obviously took care to safeguard my yard and house while they worked. I will definitely call Guardian when I need other roof repairs or a new roof.

Description of Work: He scheduled to give estimate on Monday, called to reschedule for Tuesday, called on Tuesday to reschedule for Thursday, called on Thursday to reschedule, at that point I said enough, my time is just as valuable as his and I will try someone else.

Description of Work: They replaced 5 skylights and did a complete re-roof. They completed the work efficiently and cleaned up great. Would highly recommend, they quoted about the same as other roofing companies, but their clean up and professional work speaks huge to me.

Description of Work: Replaced Roof: sheathing, sky-lights, bird blocks, ridge-line venting, roofing, fascia boards, gutters. Poor supervision, poor professionalism, very poor attention to detail, very poor attitude, fighting amongst themselves, underestimated the size and scope of the job, multiple return visits to repair, redo, or finish work. Started the job over two weeks late and took two weeks longer than planned which cut into my families vacation time.

Description of Work: I had Guardian roofing out to fix a couple leaky spots on my roof. They were very professional, provided detailed listing of their services, and even gave a warranty of their work. Overall I was very impressed with their work and I will be using this company again.
