They fixed areas of my roof that had been damaged from a storm. The service they provided was good.

Once again everything went extremely well, fast response, work done quickly, and even spent less than what I was expecting!

...then we sat down. He started by telling me that his bid was going to probably be twice what everyone else had previously quoted me and did I want to hear why, or was price so important to me (because I repeatedly said that I wanted the most "cost-effective" options for replacing my roof) that it wouldn't matter what the reasons were. I was shocked and asked him, "You're telling me that your quote would be $20K?" and then he amended it and said, "Okay more like 30 to 40% more..." I told him that in complete frankness that this was a big enough expense already and if what he offered me and what the other contractors offered me were the along the same lines of quality and service that no, I would not consider paying 30 to 40% more, but that I appreciated him coming out and taking the time to survey my roof. He proceeded to tell me that while he was sure that the other companies were good companies, because of Guardian's size they couldn't cut corners the way the other companies could, would or did. Mind you I didn't say any of the other companies I had spoken with... My suggestion would be that in the future, if Guardian, and any of it's representatives, deign to go out and offer free inspections and quotes that THAT is exactly what they do; not try to scare someone into thinking that other companies are out to get one over on them, or that Guardian's professional integrity and reputation are worth 30 to 40% more than the other guys. Jeff seemed like a nice guy, he also seemed like a typical sales man. Given everything that Guardian purports to be through their radio and television ads, I really expected better.

I emailed them twice and never got any responses. I was very disappointed because I did use this company in the past with great results and this time I never heard back.

I think we got them off of Angie's List. They did an excellent job. I would recommend them to others, they were very professional, thorough and it was a very good value for what you pay for. The quality was top notch.

We have been moving which is why we are part of being brain dead. Guardian Roofing was amazing. The inspector had a problem with some of the things with the roof; it was couple of not huge giant things. The guy from Guardian came out and looked at the roof. When the inspector had further problems, he sent the guy out to fix things. They had done this roof in 2007 and they offered to extend the warranty to the new buyer. They were amazing. They did a nice job. We just sold this house. The buyer’s inspector had some problems with the house. First, one of the realtors had kind of an issue with the roof. The guy from Guardian came out and looked at it and he wrote up a report. He did not think there was a problem and then the inspector further had other issues and so Guardian Roofing sent a guy out to repair it for no charge. Then he also offered to extend the warranty to the new buyer and he wrote it all up. We were extremely impressed with Guardian Roofing. They stood behind their work amazingly well. I thought they did great with the roof; half of the shingles had blown into the yard, we had a giant windstorm, this was in 2007. It did take a long time to get them out there. However, it took a long time to get any roofer after this windstorm. My sister flew in to the town two months after the storm and she told me, she wished she owned a tarp company because when she was landing she saw tarp company all over the roofs, all over the city. It did take them three months to get out there but they came out and tarped for me while we were waiting. Maybe they came back and re-attach the tarps once. The actual roof part was fine. When we put the house on the market, the realtor had a problem with the roof so the owner of Guardian Roofing came out and took a look at it for me and he wrote up a nice letter explaining why the shingles were doing what they were doing. He volunteered to extend the warranty to the next buyer which I thought was good. That was all good. Then we sold the house. We thought the inspector was kind of nit picking, but the inspector had a problem with a corner where the shingles met. He had a problem with something with the fan into the roof. It was twisted and Guardian said they would come out and fix all that stuff. They came out; fix it all, four years later. We would recommend Guardian Roofing to anybody. I thought they were amazing. In terms of price, I don’t remember exactly what we paid. The insurance company paid half of it and we paid for the other half. I think they were right in the ballpark. We talked to a number of roofers and they were fine. A roof is expensive but we did not have any particular problem with the price, other than the fact that the roof was lying in the yard and I did not really want to buy a new roof. In terms of punctuality, as far as I remember they showed up when they said, I guess. We moved away from them, but if I needed to and I still lived there, I would certainly use this company.

Don Wadell from Guardian came out to my house to give me an estimate on repairing some issues with my torch down roof. I was thinking that a replacement might be necessary but Don was more in the mind of doing some patching and applying a new alum cast coating. I received an estimate which was very reasonable. Don was very professional and helped to point out some other issues with my roof such as the cracks in my chimney crown and the caulking on the chimney flashing. I decided to have my roof replaced with a metal roof with another contractor. I've just been very unhappy with the performance and issues of a torch down roof. Had I decided not to replace the roof, I would have given very serious consideration to having Guarding roofing do the repair work.

They did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

I spent about $1,500 on them. They were very good in all categories. I would hire them again. The workers were very good. There were no complications. I am going to call them back again in the future.

I needed a new roof for my home, so I went out to bid with the three highest rated companies I could find. Guardian was one of those companies and impressed me immediately with the roof inspection and detailed information about what their inspection showed and what I would need in a new roof. Guardian was the only company of the three to inspect my attic space so they could see the roof from the inside, and the only company to spot an active leak in the roof. Matt Krill, the Guardian rep, even put a temporary patch in place during his inspection, and before I had agreed to contract with Guardian. He took hi-res video of the roof during the inspection and then shared the results with my wife and I on his laptop in our dining room. That was excellent (potential) customer service in my opinion. The quote I received from Guardian was not the lowest, but it was competitive with the other two companies. Once I agreed to the contract we scheduled the date for the roofing and it happened right on time. The Guardian team finished on time, left no mess, and the roof looks

The appraiser showed up on time and did a thorough evaluation of the problem which was a leak in the roof. He discovered the problem and made a temporary fix because some shingle replacement was necessary. He returned with new shingles and completed the job timely and to our satisfaction. Excellent job, both in terms of solving a leak problem which has been going on for some time and leaving no evidence of the repair, with new shingles that blended into the rest of the roof perfectly. Cleaned up the job site completely. Service was professional and thorough. Will definitely use again.

I would not recommend them. The appraiser was rude and the price was high. It was not a good experience.

No story to tell. They did exactly what they said they would do. They arrived on time, completed the job in a timely manner and left nothing behind to clean up. Couldn't ask for better. They found a number of damaged boots and shingles, most of which I was already aware of. While I thought the price for the roof cleaning/treatment was a bit on the high side, the estimate they gave me for the repair and replacement of the shingles was very good. I appreciated that they took pictures of the damaged areas so there was no question about the need for the repair and they discussed everything with me before initiating anything. No pressure. Very professional service. Highly recommended.

They have been out late at night in the rain until the leak was found. Their gurantee is that they will not let a leak go and they didn't. I cannot say enough good things about them. I'm on their annual roof checking plan.

They were punctual, professional and pretty honest. I may consider using them in the future.

Matt called to see if he could come early, identified and explained issues and how to fix them myself. Was clean and through. Spent 45 minutes and gave me his card and said I could call any time if I had any more questions

I think they do really good work. The only reason I didn’t pick them was that their price was higher. I went through six companies and I picked the one that did the most for the price. I didn’t want a cheap roof and I didn’t want a roof that had a ridiculous price. The guy who did the bid was very thorough and answered all my questions and told me what they were going to use. They seemed to be pretty good. They were responsive. I would contact them again in the future if necessary because they seem like a very good roofing company.

Overall, the experience was excellent. They arrived a few days before thanksgiving. I thought the price was very good. It was snowing & freezing outside but they were able to get the job done regardless. Everything went very well. I'm happy with their services.

I wish that every company out there would handle themselves in the professional manner in which Guardian Roofing does! Every invoice that I have recieved at the end of the job has been right what I was quoted in the beginning, and the level of craftsmanship has never come into question. All of the workers showed up as scheduled, in uniform, and were extremely polite and professional from start to finish. I would highly recommend hiring this company if you want the job done right the first time with no surprises.

We haven't yet used them as we are still waiting because I do business where I deal with banks, so I have to wait in terms of the bank’s request work to be done. We would have to wait until we get through the list of commands and get the approval. I will use them based on the way they handled everything. They gave us two different estimates but depending on which way the bank chooses to go. They were very professional and very prompt in returning my call. They were very courteous about the questions I had because this was a little bit of a different scenario than probably what they are used to dealing with. They actually went out and did the estimate in good paper and then let me pay them after the fax. I would highly recommend them. The office staff and the gentlemen that were out in the field were very professional.

The job went very well. We were pleased with them. They got back to us right away considering that it was a fairly large windstorm. They were very prompt and we had someone come the next day to give a quote on the job. They went ahead and right away put a tarp down to keep the rain from coming through. They did the emergency repair the very next day. We certainly will use them again in the future.
