They did miss the originally scheduled appointment due to a prior call running long; however they communicated very well about the situation and apologized. Technician found a leak from a hose in the furnace that was rusting out a plate and fixed it. Tech seemed very knowledgeable and was very friendly.

Description of Work: They performed inspection and maintenance service on furnaces in two houses we own. They indicated both had potential issues with inducer motors and recommended replacement at cost of $400+. Given the cost, I decided to take a chance and wait until motor fails.

Description of Work: They were to install a new heat pump and air handler for a 2 day install for about $8,000.00 including custom duct work. In all it took about 10 visits to my house to complete the job with sub par performance. I am amazed this company is still in business. The owner came out and bid the job, then had his son and new employee do the work. Unfortunately I'm not sure the guy had much experience and did not install it correctly, bled on my carpet when he cut himself with the sheet metal, left chards of sheet metal in my garage, put in the wrong wireless thermostat, had to come back multiple times for fixes and upon finishing, did not test the system properly. So several weeks after it was installed and I went to use the heat, it turned off in 10 minutes. I couldn't figure out what was wrong so called the owner, he said he'd look at it tomorrow and when I said I need heat now, his response was that "it's not that cold" - who is he to determine how cold my children can endure over night? |Fortunately he sent his lead technician who confirmed it had not been installed properly and the fautly wiring was kicking the system off after 10 minutes on an override. They fixed it. Then in the following spring, I found water all over my floor the morning after I turned the A/C on for the first time. Another installation mistake. Luckily I was home to clean up 2 inches of water on my floor. The lead tech came back and corrected the problem, which was the plumbing for condensation. |The lead technician is competent, but everyone else there, including the owner is not. Awful experience. Run from this company, you will regret going with them as I do frequently. Absolute nightmare.
