Green City Heating and Air Conditioning

The guy was really nice (Larry) and he really knows what he's doing and was very helpful. It was a pleasant experience from setting up the appointment until his walking out the door. There was no attempt to hard sell me, he just fixed what needed done. I recommend them highly.

Everything went smoothly and our service tech. shared some extra info. with us about our furnace. He seemed very knowledgable and worked quickly but with attention to details.

I could not be more impressed--my $59 was well spent and I will definitely call Green City for any future HVAC needs.

This was a big deal service. They were very responsive and came out right away. They found that our water heater was leaking and they had to replace that. They did that immediately and did a wonderful job. However, they misdiagnosed the problem with our furnace according to Puget Sound Energy. They ended up not doing anything because they were concerned about doing that and having the warranty become void that the installer of the furnace had on it. They really did not do anything other than take it apart and see that there're there was some kind of issue with it. To be honest with you we had the installing company come out and they thought there was an issue with it as well, but it was different that tan than what Green Energy. They recommended that Puget Sound Energy come out. When they came out they said that both Green City and the installer were both wrong and there was nothing wrong with our furnace. I cannot recommend the expertise of Green City for maintaining our furnace. When they installed the water heater they came out immediately and were very nice people. They had somebody come out to give us a quote on a new furnace in case we needed one. He was the one who said to call the company that installed the furnace and he even said it was probably better for them to so do the repair work because it would be less expensive for them to put a new furnace in. However their maintenance person did not know what he was doing, according to Puget Sound Energy. He said that there was damage to our furnace and not to turn it on or there would be carbon monoxide poisoning. Puget Sound Energy said there was no risk. This was the first time I used them. One technician came out for the furnace. He was out here about 45 minutes. The pricing was very reasonable.

Came out to do a normal check up of the furnace before I started using it. Once there the tech found that the furnace needed replacing. Got 3 estimates ranging from 3000.00 to 6000.00. Green City noted that the whole furnace did not need replacing just part of it. none of the other contractors told me this. When my gas was turned off to fix the furnace my pilot light on my hot water tank got shut off. Called Green City and was told I probably did not need a new hot water tank just the pilot lite need to be lighted again. Wasn't home until they closed. Tech took a moment to call and tell me how to get the pilot lit was very helpful. Will need a new hot water tank next year. Going to go back to Green City!

The guy was trying to sell us a new one. After he left, I found I couldn't turn on the furnace. I called and they told me if it's not their problem, a $130 charge will be added. We later found they turned off a switch. We canceled the appointment.

Larry arrived on time after a phone call 30 minutes prior to arrival. He had been here before so knew where to go and what to do as well as made sure I was satisfied with the airflow in our new addition. Larry is very personable and kept the area clean & closed up the garage door prior to departure. He also recommended other companies to get the ducts cleaned. Great service for the price!

The technician was very thorough and did a good job of cleaning the system and verifying the operation. One of the AC condensers was covered by a shrub. He had his sawzall ready before I could get mine out and helped to cut back the shrub. Then there was the wasp nest... Needless to say he did a great job. Highly recommended!

We were scheduled for one day and they were in so late that they actually had to reschedule of their service. They came the following day which was fine. It was just kind of inconvenient. The deal was so popular. Other than that, the service was done as expected. It wasn't anything really remarkable. I'd give them a B because of the scheduling issue. They were competitive. Quality was fine. The price was really competitive. If it was about the things that save money to get the service done, then I would recommend them but I wouldn't expect them to be there the day they say they're going to be there.

Thought I saw a good deal for a furnace tune up that includes a filter change. I bought the deal on Angie's list and entered my preferred dates of service. I got a call within a couple of days and it was scheduled according to my preferences. Unfortunately, I had to change the schedule and I called the company back to reschedule. Not a problem. They also called a couple of days ahead of time just to confirm. On the day of service, everything went smoothly and I was reassured that everything worked fine. What a relief. Would highly recommend this service to others.

I contacted them for an estimate to have a new furnace installed. The scheduling went well. The estimator was on time. He met with me for a while, but never provided a bid. He said he would send it to me within 2-3 days. A week later I called him to ask for the bid. He said he would provide it in 2-3 more business days. Two weeks later I still have no bid and have decided to go with another company. Very disappointing and a waste of my time.

My furnace is located in a very difficult place to access . The guy showed up on time and checked the furnace operation ,,cleaned the burner changed the filter and made sure the operation was as good as possible for a 15 year old furnace. No complaints from my tenant . Used them before and would never call anyone else .

Arrived on time. Very polite, professional and courteous. They completed work in less than a full day. They walked my through the installation, including a final to discuss the system, how to operate it, warranty, etc.

Quick and efficient. The Thermostat that they put in did not keep the correct temperature, but it was a manufacture problem and they quickly replaced it. All went smoothly and after getting two other quotes from other Angie's list "A" businesses, I am glad I went with Green City.

He found a crack in the exchange/receive (?) that can't be repaired. Since the furnace is more than 15 years old, I just thought it's time to have it replaced.

Everything went very good. Service provider was very nice and professional. Explained what he was doing and showed me how to change filter and explained frequency of filter replacement. As a widow I did not know this. He was very respectful. I will call this provider in the future for any furnace needs.

The date and price are from memory so could be off. They arrived on time. They notified me that my furnace was in like new condition so didn't really need the cleaning but they went through their process. It was good to hear that the furnace was in such good shape and so clean. The workers were clean and polite working in a professional manner. They went through their full process and were on their way. Did a great job and would use again.
