Great communication and excellent service. My appointment was scheduled between 9:00-10:00 am. I recieved a call at 8:15 asking if he could come earlier which worked out great for me. I will definitely use this company again next year for the annual furnace check up.

The repairman called and advised he could arrive earlier than scheduled and showed up at the earlier time. He replaced the igniter and then checked the wiring. He advised that we would be needing to replace our entire furnace soon and suggested the type of furnace to watch out for on the Angie's List website.

Green City Heating and Plumbing did an excellent job. Our service call was setup online, and the service technician showed up on time. Technician was very courteous and helpful in explaining all the work he performed. He also gave helpful instructions for homeowner maintenance. There had been a problem with a rattling noise being generated by the heat pump when running. The technician repaired the heat pump noise which turned out to be a missing screw that was needed to secure a copper line inside the heat pump housing. Overall, the service was excellent and I would highly recommend Green City for servicing. I plan to use them in the future.

Replaced Filter, preformed tune up and reassured me that the everything is in good condition and should last a few more years.

A technician came and inspected our furnace then suggested ur to replace it with a new one and gave us a few options, when we made a decision to go with one of the options , we made another appointment , and they again came in on time and installed the new one and it now it works fine. We are satisfied with the job they did.

They were very prompt end efficient. Our 18 year old furnace went out on a Saturday afternoon. I called eat emergency number listed on their website. They called me back right away and scheduled a person on Monday morning. I was concerned that we might have to go another night without heat, but they assured me that they could do a same day install. Sure enough, the guy was here early Monday morning . Me did not try to up sell me anything, I fact, I had to ask about upgrades. And our new furnace was installed and running by 4pm. Nice work!

Had scheduled with office for prior week, but somehow the office got the order confused & worker did not make it out as scheduled. Re-scheduled for following week, worker on time & in phone contact for arrival time. Worker didn't have my 4 inch thick filter in truck so went to nearby hardware store & purchased. This was included in the $79 Angie's coupon. No complaints.

Very well. Technician showed up for initial appointment and diagnosed the problem. Had to order the motor. He came back at the appointed time and did the work. He was friendly, polite and gave me full details.

We had some bumps, but these are expected. Because Green City is a family-owned and run business, everyone is on top of solutions.

The installer was very knowledgable and helped us select a furnace. The installation happened on the date set, and the furnace room was left clean and orderly.

We received a call a day in advance to reconfirm and Larry called about 20 minutes before he came. Larry was very knowledge and personable. He completed work in a timely manner, but was not rushed. He covered the area around the fireplace as he worked and cleaned up as he went. We had a number of questions, for which Larry provide answers and recommendations. We were very happy with his work and would definitely hire him again.

They were prompt, courteous and did the job required. They did not try to upsell me on anything and gave me a nice report. All in all, a simple and good experience.

This was a fantastic experience with a company that really takes care of their customers. The technician was prompt, friendly, and gave use sound advice. A week or so later after a power surge, the furnace stopped working. I called the company, and within 15 minutes the original technician called me back. He was out within a few hours, had the blown part replaced (we were only charged for the part!) and we once again had heat. Great service! Looking forward to a continued relationship with this company.

The contractor and I had exchanged a couple messages after the deal was purchased. All communication was prompt and professional, and a refund was quickly issued.

Larry their tech was totally awesome. He explained everything and recommended a new furnace because the Manufacturer of the unit (Whirlpool) was no longer making furnaces and the parts (burners) would be very hard to find. He offered us a special price on a new unit (Lennox) and said the price would be good for 30 days. If I can't find the burners, I'll probably have them come out a replace the old unit.

Showed up on time and did a very through job. I will use them again next year.

We purchased a furnace tuneup service through a Big Deal promotion. It took a little while to get the service scheduled due to the popularity of the deal but the tech was timely to the appointment and was thorough and very friendly. He even answered some questions about furnaces not related to this service. I would absolutely use Green City Heating & A/C again for any future needs.
