Mike and the team of Green City gave a fair price and help me in the process of change oil furnace to gas furnace . Recommend a green city, appreciate the good work they done.

Ahren arrived on time. Very complete and professional inspection and work. Explained all activities and installed a great CO2 alarm. Took time to acknowledge my granddaughters interests and accepted their "help."

Walter came out on time and tuned the furnace. I stuck around and watched / asked questions. He was a little harsh on the furnace, saying that it's due for replacement (some of the parts). This sounded fair as the thing is really loud and quite rusty. Apparently furnaces last 15 - 20 and mine has had a hard life in the last 12. I'm likely to hire Green City again in the future.

They don't mind working and have a great attitude when they're working. They don't mind an honest day's work. They explain what they're doing. They have a very strong, old fashioned work ethic.

In December, our heat went out. We called another company to fix it. They mentioned our blower motor wouldn't last long and recommended we get it replaced ASAP. In March, we called Green City to get the motor replaced. It was gradually getting louder so we assumed it was approaching time to replace it. Aharon came out to investigate. He quickly told us the motor was fine and the furnace we have is just noisy. He cleaned the furnace and tightened everything down. Noise was gone when he left, it has since returned as expected. Original company quoted $1000+ for the motor, Green City quoted about half that. Turns out we didn't even need it. They could have easily told us we did and made more money off of us but they didn't.

I called to have my water heater serviced and possibly fixed. I was told the service was $130 and would include labor if anything needs to be fixed, but parts would be extra. When the tech took a look he said it was too old to do anything and we needed to replace it. I was still charged the service charge for no work being able to be done. When we called to get a refund or at least partial refund we were told that $130 (plus tax) was their minimum service charge and labor and parts is extra. Seems pricey for no "service" performed.

I asked way too many questions but he answered everyone of them politely. He also explained what he was doing as he went along. I like that a lot. Good job!

The team arrived an hour early, which was fine, they wanted to get started. They let me watch the whole installation and explained different features of the job. I gave them ideas to run the piping and what I wanted for the air filter. They were very accommodating with my requests. The job took them all day, some in the rain, and cleaned up the whole area when done. Very professional and polite while they were there, started and finished in one day. The system works well and when it becomes warm I will see how the AC works. Thank you

The technician was 1.5 Hrs late!!!! After the first 30 minutes, we called the customer service who told us they will contact the technician and get back to us and they did .. to let us know he will be 30 minutes late.. and after an hour the technician messages to let us know he will be another 30 minutes late.. and when he did show up.. the reply was: " we never know when we will be done our last appointment so we give a window".. althrough he was well past his window time and did not feel like he owed us an apology for being 1.5 Hr late for what was probably their first appointment of the day scheduled for 8AM! The Furnace take odd size filter and it did not occur to us to let them know this but as professionals.. I would have expected them to ask as well.. Other then the punctuality, professionalism and responsiveness ... the price was good lol

It was fine. I didn't get much feedback on the state of the furnace, but it's pretty new so there was perhaps not much to report. It takes an odd size filter so I didn't get that part of the value of the coupon.

Green city is a great company. Technician was about 30 minutes late but I received a courtesy call from customer service and the technician himself that he wold be about 30 minutes late. Bud did a great job. He is very professional and knowledgeable. It was a quick maintenance call that only took about 10 min. My boiler is about 2 years old and bud told me that my system doesn't require a yearly maintenance. And that he recommended service every 3 years is sufficient. I didn't know anything about our system since we just bought this house. It's great to see a company not try and take advantage. So I appreciate the honesty. I will be contacting them again when it's time to replace my old water heater and when I need any hvac work.

After getting tired of being gauged by the service provider that dominates my area, I gave Green City Heating a try. They were Very professional, friendly and affordable. I'm a single mom and cannot afford ridiculous quotes for unnecessary services. He recognized this and gave me honest advice about some maintenance steps to take this spring/summer and did not use scare tactics to pressure me into any huge repair projects. Will definitely use them again.

It went fine. The person said that I would need to replace a valve as the heater pressure was lower (than optimal). He was going to follow-up with me, but he never did.

Discovered on 2/1 that 12 year old boiler was leaking exhaust from its vent pipe. Due to service/communication problems with our existing supplier, decided to look for another heating company. Phoned Green City Heating and Air Conditioning at 4:30 that day and Jeff Simonson, owner, came by that evening- reviewed our current system and provided us with a very thorough bid on replacing our existing boiler. His proposal was thoughtful, complete and very competitive with other suppliers. Jeff's proposal included items that were not included on other bids, but needed attention. (for example, the cleaning of existing duct work which had not been done in 14 years). He committed to having the job done in three days and provided us with a water tank so that we could have hot showers since the boiler heated our water as well. Everyone from Green City (Robert, Damian and Aaron) were extremely professional and took great pride in their work. The team not only met all deadlines, the quality of their work exceeded our expectations. For the first time in 14 years, our daughter's room has heat!! (I think the air handlers were so dirty, it was blocking movement of air into her room). I should add that we had had numerous service calls over the years in an attempt to correct this problem. Our mechanical room looks better than ever and Robert gave me a very thorough review of the changes and system. I would highly recommend Green City for your heating needs.

It was a great service. I'm happy with it. They were pretty good. It was $800 more. I thought it was a little higher than expected. When people do work for me, I get out of the way because they know what they are doing. They knew what they were doing. What I needed done was what they did. They did a good job. They were on time. My wife didn't appreciate them. They came into the house without knocking. They could have been more aware that they were entering someone else's home, more conscious of that. That should be respected at all times. They were pretty good.

Installers were very timely, clean, knowledgeable. The price was better than other quotes. I had a problem with the furnace due to others contractor working on the house but a repair person was out within an hour to check out the problem and repair it at no cost to me.

They were great. Very knowledgeable able and personable. They were running late but called to let me know. This was not a problem for me.

They were pretty prompt. There were no extra charges.

I bought the Angie's list coupon for a furnace tune up. The technician was very nice, punctual and informative. I had been patching a 20 year old furnace and he showed me rusting in the back of the unit. I was able to make an informed decision about replacing. I would definitely recommend them.

It was fine. They came out about three months later because they lost my order. I got on their website, as they requested and made an appointment. They never got back in touch. So I finally got in touch with them. They didn't charge anything extra. They were also late getting here, which made me late for another appointment. Once they got here, they did the right thing. It was relatively quick. Their pricing was actually a little high compared to some of the others that I saw after I purchased it. I would use them again in future if the price was right. I would just want to make sure that they didn't do what they did before.

Well, it started off rough because the technician was one hour and twenty minutes late. However, I believe the technician did a spectacular job going through the process very thoroughly. He also changed out the filter and offer some suggestions to keep the furnace running smoothly. All in all, it went well so thank you.

It was okay. This was the first time I ended up using them.
