Work was not done. Dennis came to my home, measured, discussed but didn't call me back to give me an estimate. Didn't pick up the phone and didn't return my calls after I left voicemail.

Description of Work: Dennis replaced 21 rusted through mobile home tie-downs and straps for the price he quoted and on the day we scheduled to meet a very tight schedule to qualify the buyer's FHA financing. Dennis is a true pro and a great guy, and I highly recommend him.

There were unexpected challenges Dale faced soon after starting the job. The trailer had "Alaska" insulation so he could not get to the original plumbing and had to come up with solutions. Same with tub - the house has settled or something, it was very challenging to get new tub of same size in, but Dennis stuck with it and got the job done. It looks great. When all was said and done there were only two things to resolve. Dennis came back on short order to provide additional shimming and get the washer/dryer totally solid and level. Also the toilet sometimes gurgles when washer rinse/spin cycle is going. Once Dennis leveled the washer/dryer and we tested it with full load there was no toilet gurgle. Of course next day I'm doing laundry and toilet gurgles/burps again. I am having D & M back for some additional home improvements, so when he comes back I'll ask him to take another look at toilet gurgle. He is very honest and has excellent hard working ethics. In retrospect, I wish I had put down something to protect the carpet for coming and going before the job began.
Description of Work: Mobile home repairs. Cut out existing polybutylene plumbing and install new PEX plumbing system to include new shutoff valves on all water inlet lines to water heater, sinks, etc. Replaced garden tub and surround. Installed plywood on subfloor under washer/dryer and level. Replace ventine top exhaust range hood.

Another company Robbins & Co. said our home was 1/2-3/4" un level and that it would cost $5200 to level it. (See my review from Feb 2015). I had Dennis come out for a 2nd opinion. He came out and crawled under the home for 25 min. checking the leveling and taking pics of 2 lag bolts that could be tightened. He said he would barely say it was even 1/2" off and that it did NOT need to be leveled. He did not have nice things to say about a company that would take advantage of me. (Female, disabled). He could have said yes- and bid lower, and make some money for work not needed. He did not do that. He checked out the roof and siding also to make a recomendation. Very nice guy. I seldom give all A's.

Description of Work: Dennis Bloomer (owner of D & M) realigned the ceiling/roof of my double wide mobile home and did it in one day without leaving anything behind but a beautifully done job. I subsequently had a plumbing problem that I called on Dennis to repair and received the same professional, high quality service. I highly recommend D & M not only for the work done but also for the decades of knowledge Dennis brought with him.

Description of Work: Our mobile home had sunk into the ground in one corner. It had to be re-leveled. Supposed to be every 3-5 years, but we did not know it. Have had this place for over 20 years and never leveled it. Dennis gave us a |real work estimate in writing, kept his cost to that estimate, and completed the job in the same day as started. He even cleaned up after himself. In my opinion he is the best mobile home service around, and I will call him again for my next project, my roof!

About a month after the visit to our house and the diagnosis that the ground was dry underneath and we were just suffering from gopher holes, my husband crawled under and discovered the entire ground damp and smelly, especially towards the SW side of the house. We were baffled because we were told it was dry. Figuring that maybe a water leak somewhere in our mobile park occurred, we decided to wait it out and sure enough a neighbor had a broken line, possibly for quite some time. Finally, my husband went under again and discovered not even one gopher hole. In fact, the area that was suppose to have been caved in from gopher holes had not been disturbed. The plastic had not ever been moved (evidence of the dust layer on the plastic and the fact that to even put your arm into the sunken hole as the contractor said he did, one would have to cut the plastic to begin with which is what my husband had to do). My husband took photos and also tried to put his arm in and test it with a stick. There was no gopher holes. It's cause is still undetermined. We are thinking that a pile of dirt from a septic serviceman near the entrance of going under the house caused the contractor to think there were gopher holes (and numerous mole holes outside) led him to make that assumption. The health department visited us because of the smell we had but they need the ground even drier for better testing. We're now getting ready to file a complaint against the owner of the part as MANY supports under our mobile are sinking into the ground. Luckily, our house is still fairly level (confirmed by the contractor so that is correct) but the contractor emphasized so greatly our gopher problem that we were ready to call in professionals.
Description of Work: We received a free assessment of our mobile home situation where an owner sold us a home with a prior underground water leak that collapsed a gopher hole network that left a huge sunken hole under our house. For years we have had to level the house ourselves as the owner/prior manager did not respond to our concerns. We were greatly relieved after getting an assessment by DM. He checked every part of the house and then crawled under the house and checked every section. He knows mobiles well and his truck and quality of tools say he's a pro (per husband). | |He also spent quality time explaining things and answering EVERY question my husband had. Currently, we don't have an immediate need for his services but kept his card for future use. We plan to have a hot water heater replaced (25 years old!) before the end of the year.

We found a listing for D and M Mobile Home Service in the yellow pages. They came out the next day to give us an estimate for work that needed to be done underneath our mobile home. Dennis Bloomer, the owner, arrived on time (in fact, 10 minutes early), gave us an estimate and started working the following day. We are more than pleased with the work he did. Dennis is very knowledgeable with repairing mobile homes. He knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it. Each day he arrived on time as scheduled and completed the repair work according to the time frame he gave us. It has now been over a week since the repairs were done and there haven't been any problems with the work Dennis did. We would recommend him to anyone who needs to have any type of work done on their mobile home.

We contacted Dand M Mobile Home Service for an estimate on our mobile home for water damage to our flooring and walls. We were told that someone may have time for an estimate the following afternoon or if he was too busy, Saturday, but he didn't show up either day nor did he call to cancel. We called the company again on Monday to question why no one came to our home and was told they were swamped with work and that we would receive a phone call that evening, we haven't heard from them since.

My husband called this company first. There was no response. There were not many companies that do work on mobile home roofs so after about a week I called and talked to Dennis the owner. He said he would be out to look at my problem the next day (Friday) if he could but more than likely he would be out monday or tuesday of the next week. This is a rental house and it is vacant. He said he would call me when he came out since it would only take 15 minutes for me to get there. I didn't hear from him so on Wed I called him. He said he would be out the next day which he was. He evaluated my roof and said he would get back to me within a couple of days with the estimate. We discussed how important it was to get this job done before the rain comes. I have not heard from him since. I called one time and left a message but he didn't respond back. I wish he would have told me from the start that he didn't want the job. Now the rain has started and I'm stuck scrambling to find someone that knows about this type of work.
