+ -1 moreI was totally impressed with CertainTeed every step of the process. I got their phone number from the company that installed the window. When I called they took my information and immediately emailed me the warranty intake form. I sent it back with a lot of missing information, so they called me within a day of receiving it to double check the exact size of the window before ordering it. The next week, I got a call from the repair man and we set a time for him to come a few days later. He showed up on time and took no more than ten minutes to change out the window. Every single step of the process was totally smooth, and all of it was done for free, no questions asked.
Description of Work: One of the windows I had installed in 1999 was growing mold between its two panes of glass. I contacted the company who installed it, and they referred me to CertainTeed, the new name of the company who made the windows. Their warranty is a lifetime guarantee for the original owner, so they replaced the window free of charge.
