Aloha Joe Movers

These guys are rockstars! They were on time, professional, friendly, fast, and very easy to work with. They did not break any items, or damage either house while moving items out and in. I have never had such a wonderful experience with movers before! I highly recommend!! They are awesome, best movers ever!

Initially, I thought the cost per hour was a little high, but when I saw them work I changed my mind. They worked fast and efficiently and took excellent care of our furniture. The three men worked perfectly together and were very pleasant and easy to get along with. The load had to come down a steep-hairpin driveway and they were extra careful not to hit anything on their way down. Unlike the people who had moved the prior residents out. They were excellent!!! I would indeed use them again and recommend them to my friends and relatives.

Excellently. The price was $165 an hour for a minimum of two hours, with additional time charged in 15-minute increments. (That equates to $55/hour per crew member for crew of 3.) Measured from the time they departed their office at 9:00 AM until the time they expected to return to their office at 12:00 PM it was three hours total (they finished at roughly 11:30 AM). They could do installations of things like washers and dryers if necessary, but I did not need that service.

Joe's suggestion to rent an extra truck was correct, since we had to move the entire household. It was graduation day for his daughter, but he showed up early in the morning to load the truck, leaving the rest of the move in the capable hands of his staff. The cost was under his estimate. The guys followed the route I suggested instead of the GPS route. Great experience, hard and fast working guys. Highly recommend, Joe.

Joe and his crew of two young, strong men showed up on time at our house with the moving truck. They took a look around at what was to be done. Joe assessed the items and had the guys start bringing him the furniture while he put the puzzle together inside the truck. I had things marked for upstairs and downstairs to make their lives easier and not have them use the stairs at the new home - Joe worked with that system. They worked quickly and carefully. Our little house of 1350 square feet equated to 2 and a half loads. They put things where I thought they should go and moved things around for me if I thought they should go elsewhere. They sometimes put things in places I hadn't really considered, but liked their ideas! Experience goes a long way. The whole day, the guys kept a good attitude and when it was finally said and done, they'd put in a full day. Moving is a little more expensive than I'd imagined (I didn't know I had so much stuff!), but well worth the price. My back isn't aching and I have the energy to unpack and get the other house ready for sale. Great Job Joe - thanks for the service! Money well spent!

They were punctual, actually early. I was introduced to the movers in a friendly way. They jumped right in and moved the furniture to the truck. We were loaded and ready to head to my storage unit in less than 30 minutes. At the storage unit, the furniture was carefully removed from the trucks and carefully and economically placed in my unit. The entire operation took less than two hours. I could not be more pleased with Aloha Joe Movers. I would use them again and would recommend them without hesitation. Their level of courtesy and efficiency is way above the norm.

Joe was great from the time I called all the way through the move and even a couple of days after. I scheduled our move about three weeks out. About a week before we were to move, I had to reschedule because our closing date got moved back. He reassured me all was fine and he has moves get rescheduled multiple times per month. Two days before our move, we discovered our sellers did not have movers booked, which would have prevented us from being able to move in! I called Joe and thankfully he was available! He kept me up-to-date on the move of their stuff, as it impacted our timeline. The day of our move, they were a little late, but he called to let me know they were stuck at a train crossing. They ended up having to make two trips, which ended up costing a lot more than I thought, but they were fast and did a good job (I think they nicked the doorway trying to get the treadmill into a second floor bedroom - it was a really tough maneuver and we likely would have done the same if we were moving it!). Joe and his crew came back a couple of days later to move the rest of our sellers' stuff out of the garage and kept me up-to-date about the last of their move. We are so grateful Joe was able to step in last-minute to make the move happen not only for us, but also for our sellers! He was really great to work with and went above and beyond for sure!

Aloha Joe Movers did a fast, cost effective and professional job in moving all of my household items into a Uhaul for storage when we had new floors installed throughout the house. They came back when the flooring was in and moved everything back in. Joe and his team worked extremely quickly and provided excellent service. Originally, I sent a request in for a quote via their website and Joe called me back within just a few minutes. His prices were less than half those charged by the larger moving companies! He scheduled us in with fairly short notice as our installer was ready sooner than expected. They took great care in moving all items and even made it down a twisted flight of stairs multiple times with no damage to walls or stairway. When moving us back in, they even remembered where most items needed to go, which really made it easy. Special service was given to also help put on the felt protectors I provided on the bottom of all furniture as it was put in the rooms. Extremely courteous, easy to work with, good value for the money and excellent service. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Joe and his two assistants arrived exactly on time. They were all very nice, personable and went right to work. With my husband helping in the house, the loading went very quickly and efficiently. Two truck loads later it was done and only six hours later. The guys worked hard and they were just great and took good care of the furnishings, nothing broken. If/when we have to move again, we will call Joe.

I would use them again and would recommend them to friends and family.

My parents were moving from their home on relatively short notice. I emailed Joe on Monday at about 5:00PM on the off chance that he could move my parents that Wednesday. Joe called back within one half hour! He did have some time on his schedule and said, "he'd be at my parents by 9:25AM." Joe and his crew (Derrick was one of the fine young men) arrived at 9:24, right on time. We signed an agreement for the move and they started working. Once everything was packed we met the Joe at my parents new home where they unloaded the possessions, assembled what we agreed to, cleaned up, and asked if they could be of further assistance. I was very impressed with their helpful and professional attitude! We couldn't be happier with their service. I recommend this moving company without hesitation to anyone needing these services. Joe showed up on time with two helpers: They were extremely good at moving stuff and never slowed down. I'm in good shape for my age and I thought that was some really really tough work. They were also very polite people and asked lots of questions about how we wanted things moved. I had a bunch of extra stuff that doubled the time of the job and they were fine with the extra work. It ended up being over 6 hours of very difficult physical labor for them and I was impressed how fast they were getting things done. I'm as picky and value conscious as a customer can get and I was very happy with the value of their work. I gave them a tip on top of what the charges were. I can't imagine a better local moving company.

Joe and his guys were super. They had to get things out of the attic, from downstairs and upstairs. They were courteous, punctual and treated our things very well. They even carried things upstairs for us that we were selling and took a basketball hoop to another home. We were so pleased with their work.

My relative had to move out of his apartment as soon as possible due to health reasons. Contacted Joe on a Friday (he answered immediately) and described what we had to move and set a move date for the next Tuesday. Joe and his crew arrived exactly on-time and from the first moment they arrived they never stopped working. The only break they took was when they were in the truck going to the storage facility. Joe was able to determine that all the contents would not fit into the storage unit we had rented. My relative is a hoarder/collector and there was was an enormous amount of boxes and larger loose items to move, but we didn't want to rent an additional unit. Together we decided to donate a few items and make a dump run for an old TV and mattress/box springs. Like I said earlier, the guys worked constantly. They were pleasant and very careful with everything. We knew it was going to me a tight fit in the storage unit. One guy was a master at stacking and fitting everything in. I believe we had about one small box of space left when we closed the door! After completing the move, they took the things to dump on their way back to their office. It took them a total of 7 hours and two trips to the storage unit to get all the things moved. This crew was very conscientious about their time as they bill by the hour. I believe it was a bargain with all the stuff they had to move. Did I mention that the apartment was up one flight of stairs? Thankfully the storage unit was on the main floor (down a long long hallway) but no waiting for an elevator.

My first call to Aloha Joe's was to ask questions and get a ballpark estimate of cost. Joe answers his own phone and you deal directly with the owner of the business, which I really appreciated. He was up front about costs, time and what he could or couldn't do. The day before the move he called to confirm the time and make sure we didn't have any questions or changes to the move. The day of the move Joe and his crew showed up exactly on time and began working immediately. They worked fast but carefully and everything was done much sooner than I thought it would be. And as a bonus, everyone was really nice and very customer service oriented. They made a really stressful day much better!

Work went according to the instructions I gave. I was surprised that they even reassembled most of the furniture when we got to the new house. Todd and his crew were professional, courteous and never made assumptions. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but I would definitely use them again.

Joe and his two workers arrived promptly at the time they agreed to and immediately went to work. After a walk-through to see exactly what was to be moved, they immediately started loading everything into the their truck. They were extremely careful and respectful of both the items they were moving and the walls and doors they had to traverse. They even managed to get a large desk and an extremely heavy five-drawer filing cabinet through an obstructed doorway without damage to anything. Everything was loaded quickly and efficiently. Once we reached the retirement community into which my mom was moving, they worked with the community staff to determine the best location for unloading the truck. Everything was quickly and efficiently unloaded, moved into the elevator, and positioned where it belonged in the new apartment. At all times they were respectful of the other residents, as well as my mother's belongings. Joe and his team were extremely professional, kind, and respectful. There really aren't enough superlatives to express just how impressed we were with everything they did. I would use him again in a heartbeat and I strongly recommend him to anyone who needs moving services.

Wow, Joe really does make you feel like you can relax. Moving was so stressful and after a miserable experience with another mover Joe has renewed my faith that there are people you can trust. His two helpers were so amazing, we just could not believe how fast and intelligent they were. They maneuvered several large pieces thru our two story home down three feet hallways with such grace and absolutely no damage. These two really knew how to approach difficult areas. When we got to the tiny apartment it was even worse and we thought for sure it wasn't going to work, but those two had no fear and just put things exactly where we needed. They were so confident and patient, with nothing but kind words to say. The powerful lift on the truck handled very heavy tool chests and our 1913 piano which was treated with loving care.

The only one I'm going to use is Aloha Joe. I haven't used them yet. He was very professional and very nice. He gave me a better price and less paperwork than all of the carriers put together. He gave me a price of $400. It did not take him very long. He pretty much has a lot of experience to know that what I have would fit in his truck. He does not use boxes. He will wrap them up and protect them. It was a lot less hassle. He was easier to work with. I am sold on this guy. I do not have any complaints so far.
