Description of Work: Allred replaced a furnace in a rental home, that went okay. I have twice called them to do additional work and never received a call back on either occasion. I would not use them again. In fact I have changed service providers to another company.

Description of Work: Allred came to perform annual service IAW an Angie's list promotion from nearly a year earlier. He was punctual, clean in his work, and knowledgeable. However, two items bring the rating down. First, he advised me to replace an expensive part that had not yet failed but was predicted to (by him). I should have resisted but replaced it anyway as I am usually up for preventative items. I wonder, should I have? The second item is just sloppy. He did not secure the air filter, so for a month I wondered what the bumping noise was when the heat pump came on. I only found it when I decided it was time to change the filter and found the old one rocking around so that it thumped up against the plenum when the fan came on. A minor thing, but should not have happened. |I would use Allred again if the company that installed the unit for prior owners could not respond.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for an A/C unit tune-up from Allred. The A/C had not been used since we purchased the house and it turns out it was missing a power switch. Allred ordered the proper part and returned a few days later to install it. They also performed the unit tune-up. In addition to the A/C tune-up, the technician also provided valuable advice in regards to my furnace. Overall, Allred was very professional and extremely helpful.

Description of Work: They did a standard service on our furnace, basically just checking it out and replacing the filter. It went well. I can't remember the cost, but I thought it was reasonable.

Description of Work: I can't add much else. The man in the Mill Creek area came and checked out the furnace. He had a check sheet he used but I can't find my copy. He said he couldn't find anything wrong with the furnace that needed to be fixed. He did day it would be more efficient if we got a heat pump installed. He was very professional.
