Our house hadn't been painted inside in more than 20 years. We needed to manage an array of home repairs and then repaint, in order to ready our long-term family house for tenants. Mary Ann came out and was impressive in her ability to see through the existing flaws. She promised that they would make it beautiful. The price came in in the middle range. Mary Ann's enthusiasm and vision were compelling, and we went with them. In every way I can think of, they bent over backwards to make it work for us. We discussed paint colors on the phone, and even met at her house to look at paint samples. She reassured us that she could handle the myriad of difficulties that were otherwise going to overwhelm us - replacing outlet covers, painting and replacing a wrought-iron rail, sanding and re-staining older doors so they did not require replacement, changing out old knobs, and figuring out & reinstalling the jigsaw puzzle of moulding that had been removed in one bedroom. As we changed our needs, they re-quoted it for us. As our schedule changed, they moved theirs (to the extent they could). Finally the week came for them to do the work, and they were fast and effective. The small issues we found after they were done were addressed within a day. The color looks great, and the finish also. Our only hitch came at the very end, when a discussion with the painter led to a misunderstanding. They installed about $1000 in high-quality moulding that we thought we had said no to, but they thought we had said yes - and unfortunately the work was done; there was no going back. It does look beautiful. We discussed it with them, but in the end decided to pay for it and let it go, because we would likely have done this work eventually anyway. The lesson we learned is, write everything down, even if it's just on a note, so you're sure everyone is on the same page. We recommend using these folks - they are delightful people, and they will work hard to make sure you are satisfied.

This was quite a project, and our experience with Jeremy and Mary Ann could not have been better. Our 1988 home had extensive amounts of 1980's oak. We wanted the cabinets, millwork, windows and doors all painted white. This required a tremendous amount of time for sanding, priming, bondoing, and then sanding again before the paint was even applied! The workers were meticulous and routinely stayed late to make sure the work was done correctly and completely. Everyone who came in our house was polite, courteous and cleaned up at the end of each day. The fact that they responded to our phone calls and emails at all times of day and on weekends, really helped us feel part of the process! We plan on hiring them to paint our house next year.

Obviously, remodeling can be a scary process. As homeowners, we don't know all that must be done to get to the finished product. Rod and his fabulous contractors (Ethan, Ralph & Slavik) have made this less nerve-wracking. Rod is a man of his word and has created for us a real sense of trust in the jobs he does for us and trust in his character. We can't recommend him highly enough! He can get the job done. We will continue to call on R & R Services Inc. for any work we need done...inside the home or outside the home. Thanks Rod!

Once again they did an amazing job. With in a few hours he had two coats of paint on the wall. Thank you again for the great work. I'm sure we will be hiring them again.

They are pretty good. They did an awesome job. They did a survey and spent a lot time on the house. The estimation was good. We are happy with them. The quality is good.

Rod walked through the property, compiled a list with us. When issues came up, Rod always called with the solution and the issue, not just the problem. It was great to work with someone who is professional and competent. We have enjoyed working with Rod on 4 houses now and look forward to more.

After 4 years, the stain on parts of my decks and railing tops needed attention, so I called Jeremy, who had done the original superb job, and asked for an estimate. Jeremy came himself and said all I needed was re-staining, not a total redo. He did the pressure washing himself, being extremely careful. He noticed that a couple of boards had begun to rot on the ends, so said he would replace them, stain the new boards, and re-stain all three decks later. The repair work was done within the week. Mine being a small job, I said to fit me in when he had the time. His first opening conflicted with a weekend I would be using the decks, and, since my decks are under trees that constantly shed seeds, cones, needles, and leaves, re-staining later in the season is better. As September began, I called to see if he had an opening, and a few days later, they were here. As he usually does, Jeremy came at the start to go over everything with his excellent crew. They set right to work, first vacuuming the debris on the decks, then brushing on the stain, which is the best way to apply stain. They were fast and efficient, doing everything within 5 hours! All was clean, tidy, and beautiful. After having the weekend to dry, Jeremy came out to make sure everything had been done right, and see if I had any concerns. Again, an wonderful experience with a company committed to excellence.

I couldn't ask for any better service. Jeremy and his guys did a wonderful job with our down stairs. They were very professional, always on time, and did a perfect job. They fit us in their tight schedule to make sure the work was done before we had family come in to town. We were so pleased with their work, we are having them come back for another paint job. We recommend them to everyone.

What a great experience working with this company was. The painters were very friendly, professional, showed up on time every day, and did an excellent job of painting the exterior of our house. The bonus came with Mary Ann, co-owner of the company with her husband Jeremy. Mary Ann is a professional designer and knows what colors will look good on a house and what combination of colors to use. She goes through the colors that you pick or suggest other colors and patiently explains why she thinks one color is better than another, from a designer's point of view. In the end though, it's all about what you want and pleasing you. She makes herself always available and gets right back to you either by phone or email. Our house colors look beautiful and that's because of Mary Ann's help. I also had my new fence stained. I was concerned about protecting the new wood. Seattle Paint and Design came out to do the staining right after the fence was put in and didn't make me wait until the house could be painted. The paint crew did a great job of cleaning up everything before they left. Can't say enough good things about this company. Everything went so well and we are so pleased with the color choice and quality of the work.

It went perfect. Everything went very well. We had a mistake come up that Jeremy and Mary Ann fixed right away with no problems. This is an awesome company who will go above and beyond to make sure that your house is exactly the way you want it. They make sure that your happy before, during, and after your time with them. Jeremy even answered a question for me that I had about spraying some beehive killer on the house. I made the call to him a few weeks after they were done with the house, and asked him if it would mess up the paint job. He said, "No." And he even offered to come touch it up if it did mess up the paint job. Overall a great company and I'm glad my wife and I chose them. We will most likely use them for some interior painting down the road.

We called Rod to replace one of our windows and install a special cat door for the stray cat that recently adopted us. Rod was super helpful, knowledgeable and kind! Despite this being a small job and him being so busy, he found the time to come out and do an outstanding job with us...not only he did a great job, but he's also very honest and a good person...we are so happy we found him and we only wish we would have known him earlier! We'll definitively call him again for our next project!

Went well. Not cheap but did a great job. Estimator/boss thoroughly briefed the working crew. We coordinated with the gutter folks and that worked well also (gutters down, painted, new gutters installed). Would use them again.

Not a good experience. After calling and talking to God knows who and making multiple appointments which nobody ever showed up for, I've decided to work with another far more customer friendly contractor. I was hopeful based on reviews, but this was nothing but a waste of my time. The no call no show on the final appointment was the last straw.

I would recommend them to anyone. They did great.

They were good and I was satisfied. He worked by himself and he had a lot of work to do and it probably would have been better if he had a little help.

Jeremy was professional and courteous. His crew showed up on time and completed the job on time. Excellent customer service from start to finish. All pricing fair and reasonable and as agreed (no changes). Yes, I will most definitely use this company in the future. One of the best contractors. I used the company in summer 2012 and fall 2013 and I paid $15,000 totally for all jobs.

We were in and out of this project in 1.5 weeks from start to finish. Not only did Rod do his part of the work, but he helped us get the right subcontractors so we could finish the project on time. Moreover, there were items found when we were trying to sell the condo by the buyers inspector and Rod came through and did all the work in 1 day and a great price.

Rod & crew are very easy going and fun to work with. They will give you the details, suggestions and areas where you can save $$, which was very important for us, since we flip houses. The quality of work was great. We could always reach him and he provided receipts for everything bought/credited.

Initially, the communication with R&R was good. I messaged them via AL to schedule an estimate. Rod promptly responded asking that I call him to discuss. I did, told him what we wanted, and he said his associate, Ethan, would call me to set up a time. Five minutes later, Ethan called and we set up a time for him to come out and look at the house that Saturday. On Saturday, he arrived a little bit early, which is better than late, and we walked around the house and talked about what we wanted done. Ethan seemed very knowledgeable about what we wanted to do and how and I felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing. After looking at the house, Ethan said he would have an estimate to us by Monday, 6/2. Well Monday came and went, and being the understanding person that I am, I figured they were busy and would probably have an estimate to me by the end of the week. So I waited. Now I am fairly certain that sometime during the week of June 2nd, I sent Rod a message via AL requesting the status of my estimate; however, it is not showing up in my Message history, so I don't know if it never actually sent or if its a glitch with the Mobile app or what. Nonetheless, by June 13th, we hadn't received an estimate and I hadn't heard from Rod or Ethan. So I called Ethan on Friday, June 13, and left him a message asking for the status of our estimate. As of today, Wednesday, June 18th, I still have not received a response or the estimate. The only reason I did not rate them overall as an "F", is because Ethan seemed really knowledgeable and like he knew what he was talking about and how to do it. To be honest, its really unfortunate that they just failed in providing the estimate and properly communicating with us, because, otherwise, they were whom we felt most comfortable with out of the others we requested estimates from. I don't like having to give such a bad review, but it's just what happened.

NOTE-this is miscatagorized. It should be in "General Contracting". Let me begin, by saying it went fantastically! Rod Leach deserves the Angles List Happiness Award. I have been though a number of remodels, both small and large. The key to a successful project is the general contractor. Their ability to keep the customer informed as well as stay on top of their crews is critical. Without a doubt Rod, excels in responsiveness and keeping a prompt crew and tight schedule. It all began when I began gathering quotes from various Angie's List contractors. Although the others GC's were acceptable, Rod stood out. Especially, his immediate response to my inquiry. Our project was slated to begin at some point in the future, but a water pipe break and subsequent flooding forced us to begin sooner then later. Although the remediation company took some time to complete their work (not their fault but rather their thoroughness, which I appreciated), Rod was constantly checking in. Again, responsiveness I appreciated. When it was time for his team to start they were on it. Let me repeat, they were on it. No messing around. Rod had set expectations that when one crew wrapped the next were on their heels. Because flooding is not a friendly experience much was required. The remediation company ripped out everything; drywall, insulation, etc. It all went which meant it all needed to be replaced. It started with insulation. I asked Rod to look at existing insulation in other parts of the house not affected. We decided to have additional insulation installed since his crew was at the house. They were prompt and tiddy. Next was the drywall crew. I had concerns over matching the original 'orange peel' texting. Rod's crew nailed it and matched it perfectly. Then came the cabinet crew that needed to reinstall a cabinet that needed to be disassembled. This is no small cabinet. It measures some 25' wide x 14' high. Putting it back together was a big jig saw puzzle. Rod's crew did a great job putting it back together, where one would never know it was ever taken apart. The next crew was the hardwood floor team. The affected floors needed refinishing. Since the floor crew was here we decided to new floors installed in three rooms. For anyone that has had hardwood floors installed or refinished, this is a long process that really can be messy. Not Rod's crew. They were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. As mentioned earlier, this was not our first remodeling rodeo. Since my family and I were living through this project, having a clean worksite was paramount. Rod's people always left a clean site. They were polite and respectful of our space. As you can see, i have nothing but good things to say about R & R Services and Rod. If you have a project and are looking for a great general contractor, be sure to give Rod a call.

The lady from them came out and looked at everything and we have been in an on going process back and forth with them. We have talked to them back and forth and they seem to be working out good. They are the ones that if you go online you can watch the whole routine of how they do this errand. They will be working on the cabinets and they are going to take off the hinges and everything and they are going to take the cabinets to their shop. They are going to have a crew work on the cabinet doors and floors, to paint all of them. It's a process and they spray different coats, it isn't just a one thing in the house here. They are going to take and handcuffs and they are going to spray and to brush them. He said from start to finish it is a five day process.The design lady who came out to give the price and measure everything. She came out with different colors when we needed the colors and worked out the colors and she came up with colors, and they just seemed to be a professional company. They told us how many years they have been in business and you can go online, you can watch them do the whole process and everything. It is two or three different steps to be done.

Rod always respond to my call very quickly. His crew did a good job on removing the old base molding and installing the new one. His painter is awesome to work with. Some of my doors has scratches from previous owner's pet and his painter made it look like a new door. His crew always come on time.

Went extremely well! Jeremy worked his crew well around the weather. He paid close attention to detail and customer input. His employees were diligent, hard-working, courteous, and professional. Results were amazing, looks like a brand new house! There was a lot of detail trim to accomplish, but it was all done without a drop of paint where it didn't belong. I would also recommend him for any carpentry repair in preparation for painting and save having to hire two contractors. Again, exemplary!

Our contact with him was quick and professional. We decided to go a completely different route so we never used him but would have. He was our top pick and we will definitely keep his name for future reference.

We contacted Seattle Paint and Design last fall to pressure wash and paint fences for 12 homes in our community. The quote was very competitive, the work was performed as soon as the weather allowed in the spring, Jeremy was quickly responsive to all our questions/needs, on completion the site was cleaned up completely and each home owner was left with a small touch up can of paint. Great customer service!
