Everything went excellent! Usually I am a bit skeptical when hiring companies to do work on my home, but Jeremy (owner) and his crew were responsive to any concerns I had and they assured me that their word is true and it certainly was! The quality of the workers and the work done is outstanding and I would definitely recommend this company to everyone! Exterior painting is a tough job and the outcome of their job is great! Carlos, the lead man of the job, and his crew worked very diligently to get work done and cleaned up after each day to the point where you wouldn't even realize workers had been there all day. Jeremy and his team did a great job meeting all of my concerns and it was definitely worth every penny!

We had Seattle Paint and Design paint the interior and exterior of our house, refinish kitchen cabinets, install new counter tops and refinish wood floors. They also did some repair work around the house. The jobs were well planned out and done well. The painters were meticulous in their preparation and painting. Overall we are very satisfied with their work.

The painters worked tirelessly to prep my home for painting. They power washed, hand scraped, and primed. They even power washed the moss off of my front porch without being asked and for no extra charge. They were super helpful and always cleaned up at the end of each day. The owners Jeremy and MaryAnn were great. They explained everything to me and have had the same crew for 15 years. Very professional. They also used the top; of the line Sherwin Williams paint that will look great for many years to come. I would highly recommend this company. Their prices are great. Not the least expensive but not the highest either. I have had my home done before by a cheap company and 4 years later I had to redo it. You get what you pay for. J. Robinson

Jeremy, the owner, thoughtfully oversees his crew who has been with him a long time. They carefully prepped, caulked, repaired drywall damage, painted millwork and doors, removed wallpaper, reapplied orange peel where necessary, painted walls and ceilings, retouched, and thoroughly cleaned-up. The work was done over a three week period, and every day they cleaned up so well that our house was completely livable. They did everything to perfection, including refinishing some cherry cabinetry, and all while being friendly and professional. A special shout out to Jose on the crew who is an artist at applying orange peel and doing detail work; he paints with the care of someone painting his own home. I am using them again in a few weeks after some wood flooring is installed, and will use them again for any other future work. Thanks!

Seattle Paint and Design had painted several nearby townhouses so we were familiar with their work. Our townhouse has an exterior stucco finish and had not been painted since the original construction in 2001. In the spring of 2015 we obtained several bids and finally accepted their bid. The work could not start before August. They first washed the entire exterior then proceed to paint it, Previous schedules and weather delayed the painting of the railings until late September. We had two crews, one did the exterior and another did the railings. They both did outstanding jobs. They used a combination spray and roller application on the exterior. The undersides of the eves are three stories up in places and required skill just to reach them. The finished product looks very good and we are very pleased with the result. Communication requires some attention. Information goes from the client to Mary Ann to Jerome to the crew lead to the painters and back. There is opportunity for confusion. That said, we would certainly use Seattle Paint and Design again. They did a excellent job for a reasonable price. The crews were conscientious, hardworking and paid attention to detail. They produced an excellent paint job.

We hired Seattle Paint & Design to paint the exterior of our home. The project started a bit later than verbally agreed, but it was worth the wait. The crew were competent and professional and paid close attention to detail. The job site (our home!) was kept clear at all times and the finished product looked great. I would strongly recommend Seattle Paint & Design for exterior painting jobs.

.Working with Seattle Paint was a delight. It's been several months since the project ended, and I think back and feel this was the best contracting experience we had overall during our remodel. We had a number of contractors doing work on our home over the summer, and the Seattle Paint team worked incredibly well with them. The painters were extremely friendly, polite, and professional. They even brought my dog a ball! The paint ob was done beautifully, and at a fair price. Any issues we had were addressed promptly. Maryann also was a joy to work with. Her design services were spot on - she mentioned many things that other designers were afraid to say or didn't pick up on and made some great suggestions for my home. We have referred Seattle Paint and Design to friends, and will definitely be using them again in the future.

His team is courteous, shows up on time, they work hard, and most importantly they do good good work! I am saving his number... I wish I could give him an A+++!! I would strongly recommend rod and his team!!! (note- the price does not include materials...)

Jeremy and his team painted my newly purchased house 2.5 years ago. The house was newly-purchased so it was empty. The workers were on time, on budget, and fast! They finished in 3 days just like Jeremy quoted me on the phone. On the second day around 11pm I went to drop off some small stuff for moving and to check on the house, the workers were just finishing up for the day. I was impressed by the work ethics so my boyfriend and I brought pizza over next day for their lunch. There was nothing in the house, but they kept the wood floor clean before they left. I can tell they spent the time to carefully prep the work (i.e. taping, removing fixture covers, etc.). The quote also included fixing all the nail poppers throughout the house. About a week or so later, I discovered some paint cracks along the door frame. I took couple pictures and emailed them to Jeremy. Jeremy came out right away and took 20 min to fix the cracks. I could not tell where it was fixed. They did great work on painting the throughout the house, very even and precise. I would definitely recommend Seattle Paint & Design.

Quality work completed in a timely manner. Hard working bunch that did a fantastic job. The before and after is amazing, love it!

Seattle Paint & Design is great! Jeremy, Maryann and their team couldn't have been more professional, more punctual, more helpful, and the work was done wonderfully. They were quick to provide a quote, Maryann worked with my wife on paint color recommendations, the team doing the job as polite and tidy. The paint store screwed up and the wrong color was applied to the house, but Maryann and Jeremy quickly got the correct paint and had the job redone at no charge to us. I cant saw enough good things about our experience and highly recommend Seattle Paint & Design.

Did the work as promised and at a high quality level. The only quibble I would have is that it took somewhat longer than we expected. It was during the summer busy season, and the painters were periodically pulled from our job. I don't remember the precise amount we paid, but the bid was reasonable for the work provided. They cleaned up thoroughly after themselves.

This was the biggest project I had ever undertaken, and Jeremy and Mary Ann were there with me the whole time listening to what my vision was for transforming an old condo into a fresh new home for my family. The results of the drywall work, the color selection, and the paint application is fantastic. I also appreciate how clean the home was kept during some really messy phases of the work! There were some tricky aspects of the refurbishment, and they solved many problems. Seattle Paint and Design showed true dedication to getting the job done. They really listened and made it all happen. They are a great team and I would highly recommend them.

It was great to work with Seattle Paint & Design. They were quick to respond to my request to schedule an estimate. Maryanne was very helpful in selecting the perfect color. From surface repair and prep through the actual painting and clean-up, the crew from SP&D did a beautiful job at what we felt was a very fair price. They rolled and brushed the entire building and made it look new again. We couldn't be more pleased and would definitely use their services again.

They meet with us to understand our goals for the project, made great recommendation on paint and how we could really make the house look modern and new again, and they also suggested other contractors to resolve unrelated issues we discovered during the walk-through for the painting project. Seattle Paint and Design did a terrific job on my project. I found them here on Angie's List and then contacted them via their website. Mary Ann called me back the same day. I explained my project and that I had a tight deadline. She rearranged her schedule and met me the following morning, I had a quote that night, and thanks to rain and some fancy scheduling - they started less than a week later. The project took just over two weeks. The millwork was a big job. All of the interior doors were removed and sprayed while the rest of the trim was rolled and brushed. The walls and ceilings were all done via rollers and brush. The finished product is very high quality - it looks great from top to bottom. I highly recommend Seattle Paint and Design. After having a horrible experience with the last contractor I hired (not found on Angie's list - my mistake), I was a bit skeptical. However, they proved me wrong. From the very first contact, to the daily presence of the painters, to the last billing - the entire team was professional, prompt, and of great quality.

These guys are great! They stepped in after our previous contractor dropped our job after only completing 25% of the work. R&R is a one-stop shop. So far they have dry-walled, painted, installed cabinets, built a platform for and installed an island in our kitchen?and fixed home owner created wall and plumbing issues. They completed all of this work in a very timely fashion. This included working on two weekends! Rod and Ethan were very accommodative to our timelines, wants, and needs. Dealing with contractors can be stressful at times, but if you add on the fact that the home they are working in is a rental with tenants, that is a lot of coordination and juggling. Rod made the whole experience sooooooo much less stressful on me. I have a rental that I "thought" I resolved the plumbing issues prior to the tenants moving in. The original plumber did a short term fix that lasted about two months. Knowing it needed to be done right, I reviewed Angie's List for recommendations and decided R&R Services were best for this situation because they could not only fix the plumbing issue, they could also do all the finish work as well to put the bathroom back together after tearing open a wall. Rod and his team were prompt to get out there to assess the issue, keep me in the loop of what was going on, working with the tenants and around their schedule, and doing a great job in the process. He not only told me what he was doing, but why, so I was more knowledgeable in the future. I would use Rod and his team again in a heart beat! Thanks Rod - Tammy

Seattle P&D was very responsive and did all the work on time and was very flexible and good at scheduling. The cabinet look very nice although some grain is still showing which I guess is reasonable. I'm not super happy with how some of the grain on the large vertical panel ended up showing and I believe that is fixable if more sanding or 2 coats of priming have been applied. I dont think it is terrible for the price but something to think about as Seattle P&D is more about efficiency and price. My main complaint though was the ballooning and unforeseen price of painting my french patio door . When I asked the contractor to extend the painting over to the french door that was next to the cabinet I was expecting something like the 100-200 range that everyone charges for door (and was quoted as such in the past by Seattle P&D), but after the job was done I was asked to pay 500 for it. I think this was very unreasonable considering that it ended up being 1/3 of the cost of the entire built in cabinet which is much much larger and more complicated. The contractor said the door needed a lot of fixed since it somewhat weathered and scratch marked on the bottom of it but the fix did not end up looking super good and for that cost I would have replaced the door completely. I don't think that was very professional behavior. If you have a "standard" paint job (e.g. walls, ceiling, etc) and want the best price I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. If you are super picky I'm not so sure. I will try out with other contractors for now and see how it compares...

In July we acquired a 55 year old home that needed serious updating. For painting I contacted Seattle Paint and Design (SP&D ) in early December 2014 after reading lots of reviews of painting contractor's. I was impressed not only by the great reviews they received but that SP&D offered the design consultation as well. I talked with Mary Ann and set up a date for her to visit. She does the bid estimates and consultations. She and her husband Jeremy own the company. Jeremy is in charge of operations. They arrived right on time and were very enthusiastic about the possibilities for the house. I liked their suggestions and energy. Their bid arrived quickly. I met again with Mary Ann to discuss options before the work started. She worked quickly and her rates are reasonable. The work was done during the last two weeks in January. The quality of the work was excellent. The walls/woodwork required lots of preparation and the crew made sure they were perfect before they put on the last coat of paint. The demo included the removal of a lowered eating shelf around the peninsula in the kitchen and removal of a wooden box around the lighting fixture in the bathroom. Repairs turned out very well. The primary painter was a master. He worked tirelessly and the results were perfection. He, like the others, treated my house as if it were a mansion. Jeremy did the refinishing of the kitchen cabinets. They are now a beautiful hand sprayed lacquer white. Once again his goal was perfection and the cabinets look it. He did some of the work on the cabinets at his shop. I felt very comfortable having Jeremy and his team in my home. They were patient with my questions and comments, worked quietly, careful of our possessions and made sure that I was happy with the work they did. Both Jeremy and Mary Ann were great to work with and responded quickly to my text messages and phone calls. Seattle Paint and Design was an excellent choice.

After 10 years I decided it was time to refresh my house: paint the interior, fix drywalls, renew my kitchen & bathroom cabinets and do mill work. I decided to use Seattle Paint & Design service and I cannot be more satisfied. The end result was fantastic and I felt like I moved to a new house?no more potholes or crack in the drywalls, all the wood looks brand new, kitchen cabinets are now shining and the paint gave the house a new look. Customer service was great too. The crew was very nice and friendly. The owners Jeremy and Mary Ann were very responsive, patient and very helpful with some of the choices I needed to consider. I definitely recommend them and will use them again.

We used Seattle Paint and Design to update a small powder room. We chose them because of the prompt response we got when we originally contacted them and then Mary Ann?s enthusiasm and confidence for completing the project. We wanted to retain a similar version of the original millwork used. They purchased the materials to create the molding. It turned out well! We bought all of the fixtures and they installed them: light fixture, towel ring, paper holder, toilet and mirror. Also we had new unpainted doors made for the existing vanity and installed. These doors as well as the wainscoting and new molding all were spray painted beautifully. Wallpaper was removed and the walls painted. It turned out just like I wanted it to. When there was any concern I would get in touch with MaryAnn and she would respond in a millisecond and took care of it.
