Shane Dunlap from S&S Roofing was one of 4 contractors that we contacted for an estimate on replacing our roof. To begin with we were not sure if the shakes were at a point if they needed to be replaced or if they could be cleaned and treated. All contractors told us the same thing, that they were very close to the end of their life. We chose Shane and his company because he just worked harder to get our business. He went out of his way without our asking to call and ask if he could look at the roof and discuss it with us. He brought multiple samples, gave us addresses and names of references. He made suggestions on what he thought would be the best product. He was responsive to every questiion we through his way. His bid for the job was competitive with the other companies we had contacted. The job itself took 4 days to complete and looks fantastic, we love the look and color. While I am not a roof expert by any stretch, it appears that his team did an excellent job. We were very impressed that they thoroughly cleaned up every day before calling it a day. The job was finished yesterday and Shane came to inspect the roof and even cleaned our skylites. We appreciated his excellent follow up and would without hesitation refer him.

The job went extremely well, Shane was recommended by one of my work associates. I called he came out and gave an breakdown estimate with all the details of the job. We scheduled the job he and his crew showed up on time for worked it through completion with out interruption. Any concerns I had Shane addressed them in a timely fashion. The crew cleaned as they went so the house/yard was tidy when they left each day. The roof looks great, Shane made suggestions about the type and quality of the products and did not push the most expensive items but what would look and wear best. Compared to the other bids I got S&S used better quality products and was competitive on the price. The entire crew was courteous and would recommend and use then again!!!

This was first time we were having roofing done and we found them on Angie’s List. We were very pleased with the service. They did a great job and they were very nice people and they were friendly and stuff like that. We were really impressed with them. The price doesn’t matter if the job is good. They took a little time to come out and do it and it was because of the weather as it was raining and they could do it when it rained. That is why it was prolonged a little bit. In terms of punctuality they were here when they said they were going to be here.

The roofing materials arrived on May 14 and the workers were here to install my new Asphalt Shingle roof and skylight the very next day. The work was completed that same day at 5pm. The workers were very courteous and the work site was kept so neat it was hard to believe that a major construction job was just completed. Great job Shane!

Crew arrived on time on 3/17/2012. They, very efficiently, completely finished the tearoff and installed the plywood. Thefollowing day, 3/18, materials were delivered and completely installed that same day. They were very curteous, putting everything back in its place, and thoroughly cleaned up when done. Shane Dunlap is a very professional, efficient, and amiable young man to work with.We were certainly impressed and would highly recommend him and his company to anyone.
