Well. The worker came to the house and told us the system was in good order.

We were having problems with water backing up through the drains into our shower. We weren't sure if it was a clogged main line or a problem with our septic system. The tank hadn't been pumped in 10 years so we figured it was due regardless. After confirming that Cuz can do both services (septic pumping and drain cleaning) we had them come out and start by pumping the tank ($400). It still wasn't draining so they tried jetting the line ($225) but quickly found out that the mainline between the house and the tank was broken (apparently the house settled differently than the tank). Anyway, they dug it up and fixed it and included the cost of the line repair in the jetting service which I thought was very fair. What impressed me most was their responsiveness (came out the day that I called), their commitment to making sure the problem was solved (had to try a few things to trouble shoot the problem but they kept at it), and their fair business practices (they never tried to "up sell" us on anything). I don't know how their prices compare to their competition but it seemed like it was very fair and think that their service is probably superior. I'd definitely recommend them to others.

Gregory ("Chunk") arrived promptly on time and was the epitome of friendliness, courteousness and professionalism. I showed him the access lids to my conventional gravity tank and went to leave him to his business. He suggested I stay so that he could show me the status of the system. I usually want to learn as much as I can from contractors who I do business with so I REALLY appreciated his taking the time to inform me about both the status of my system and make sure I understand what things should look like when operating correctly.

The day before Thanksgiving we needed the septic tank pumped, the first company I called said they couldn't be out until Monday but CUZ was very courteous and said they could be out about noon. They arrived just before noon, were pleasant and got the job done at a very reasonable price. I will certainly call them again!

Very pleasant and efficient to work with. Greg was my pumper and it's obvious that he loves his job. At the office Rick is always available, price is fair, and nobody grouses about having to dig a little if there's no riser. And they didn't charge extra to find the tank. Highly recommend.

They answered their phone when I called (no answering machine!) and made an appointment to come out and flush our septic tank and system. They were very punctual and very professional. He explained things in great detail, since we never had a septic system before; and after servicing will provide the island with all the necessary paperwork and certificate. We were greatly impressed with his knowledge and taking time to explain everything. We definitely will use them again and highly recommend their services.

Went well, it is nice to not have a fly by night operation...the worker was very experienced, knowledgeable and cared about doing a good job! I have since May 2003 and will never trust any other company to maintain our septic system. Evergreen Septic made a mistake with our system (jet lateral/vacuum drain field--one leg was not to the surface), back in 1999. I brought in Ace Acme Septic Inc. (not sure if they still exist and how I got that referral (back in 5/2003)? Acme wanted to perform work that was not necessary and hired men that were not certified to perform the work. All I can say is that Cuz Septic is well qualified to analyze if you have an issue with your septic system and they are honest! Happy in Bothell!

Provider came out at day/time promised. They did the work efficiently, provided the paperwork we needed for the person buying the house, and when they left you'd never have known they were there.

See above. Major problems at first but they returned to make everything right. They were prompt and caring and very nice about it. Ethical. Despite the mess, the good attitude and the owner's standing behind his work makes me say this is an excellent company.

The septic tank alarm went off while I was taking a shower on 12/18. I contacted CUZ after reading positive reviews on Angies list. They were out promptly the next morning ( A half hour earlier than scheduled !), and started to troubleshoot why the alarm went off. 15 minutes later, he found the broken check valve. After replacing the valve, he verified everything was working good. The entire process last only an hour. Will be happy to refer CUZ to my friends/neighbors.

We have a fairly complicated septic system with pumps, a blower, and an ultraviolet disinfecting unit. The Cuz serviceman was prompt and efficient. He was very careful of our yard and driveway and protected them from any drips or leaks or damage from the hoses. One tank filter was badly clogged, and he replaced it. He showed my husband how to clean the filter about once a year so it won't clog again. He recommended we have the tank checked and pumped every two to three years. We were pleased with the service and will use them again.

They were very good. They were very responsive and the scheduling was very easy to set up an appointment. They got the job done in just a couple of hours.

Within hours of calling CUZ, we had the problem diagnosed AND fixed! Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the technician that replaced the seized pump. My only B grade is for pricing since they charged $200 for labor and the job took less than an hour. I wish I made that much money per hour! Overall, great job CUZ!!!

Cuz septic sent out someone to do an estimate because I had a large property where the distance, both vertical and horizontal from driveway to bottom of septic tank was large, and other companies had told me (without seeing it) that it couldn't be pumped without expensive aux pumps. I'd never had a septic system before, and was not familiar with cleaning process. On estimate visit, the employee offered to do a free, quick inspection to see if I even needed a clean, because he suspected I didn't, which I appreciated. After telling me they could pump my system, with no special equipment, I told them to go ahead and schedule the visit, because I wanted a baseline. Shortly thereafter, the company called to schedule. I was able to get a date within a week, which was reasonable. The pumping went well, and the employee was willing to answer all the questions I had, which were several. They also knew, without my having to tell them, about all the different tax rates in Washington, and had the correct tax rate for my property location.
