Description of Work: Steve and crew did their usual "bang-up" job trimming and nicely shaping our assortment of knarly trees, that are quite challenging.

Description of Work: We contacted Able Tree Service based upon the reviews. We were not disappointed! The owner came out promptly to give an estimate. He was very courteous and friendly. We needed to have three trees removed and two trees trimmed. We approved the estimate and set a date for the work. The owner and his assistant arrived on time and did excellent work! They did such a wonderful job cleaning up, you could not tell they had been there! We will use Able Tree Service again and recommend them highly!

Description of Work: I contacted the owner Steve and arranged to have him come and provide me a quote on some tree pruning. While providing a quote he noticed that my front side walk was cracked and buckeling. He pointed out that the Elm tree nearest the front side walk had roots that had grown underneath and had already cracked the side walk and if not removed the roots would eventually cause damage to my house foundation. He provided me a quote and I agreed to have him perform the tree, shrub pruning and tree removal. His quote was reasonable (as compared to apples to apples competition) so I made arrangements to have him perform the work on 1-10-2012. He showed up exactly at 8:30/AM as agreed and proceeded to trim the shrubs,trees and cut down the tree in the front yard and than proceeded to the back yard to prune the apple, prune and other trees etc. In the mean time during the course of the day Micheal his assistant operated the huge chipper to remove all the tree limbs and debris etc and raked up all the leaves,(They left the yard spotless). Upon completion I inspected the work and was totally satisfied with the tremendious job they had performed. They spent 7/Hrs to complete the entire job.I will definately use them again in the future.Hats off to a solid professional, ethical, quality company!! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area for any pruning or tree service at a reasonable price.. AAAA ++++++

Description of Work: We had about 160 feet of English Laurel and Lewellyn Cypress that had grown too tall and the yard service could only shear it to a certain point because it got into the heavy wood and the shears couldn't cut it. Since our yard is sloped in part we had to lower the height 1 1/2 - 3 feet to get it into a more manageable situation. Steve and his helper got into it with their chain saws and I was amazed how level they could get the big wood. The fine ends they used shears on and it really looks good. They were very professional and obviously knew what they were doing. They also had to cut down a willow tree that was leaning quite a bit over the fence and it was obvious they also practiced very safe methods. The clean up was great. All wood was chipped into our extra wooded lot and the walks and drive areas were blown off so everything was clean.
