As other reviews have noted, John leads all the installs himself, which means that he get stretched thin from time to time. We weren't bothered by that, and were more interested in the quality of the installation. As to that, we couldn't be more pleased. John did an excellent job, the roofs look great, and I plan to hire John again.

John Fanning had been highly recommended to come look at our metal roofing as a person with 30 years of experience with metal roofing. Several days after he looked at the roof, probably close to two weeks later when I hadn't heard from him, I called to see if he had forgotten about us. He indicated he hadn't but was in the completion stage on the roofing of a 6,000 square foot house in Battle Ground. He expected to be finished by the next day or two and indicated we were next on his list. That is the last time I've spoken with him and it is now June 3, 2009. Needless to say, I am very very disappointed as he was so highly recommended and we have a true need to repair our metal roof.

John has been in this business over 20 years and definitely knows what he's doing. He takes jobs all over southwest Washington and northwest Oregon (Government Camp, Canby, Troutdale, Milwaukie I'm sure of). His price quote was $500 under the next higher quote for a similar product and he was willing to look at my roofing problem when I described the old metal roof (after about 12 calls). He was pretty good about returning phone calls and was able to provide a reference when I asked for one. He let me know when he had a job out of phone range before he left, so I knew he couldn't return some calls until the end of the week. He had some staffing issues before he got to my job, which resulted in a three day delay in his start date. That worked out for the best as there was rain on the original day. I provided some of the help in removing the old roof and getting the new one installed, which reduced the repair price $200 (which left $100 over the roof installation of $2700).
