ANACORTES CLEAN

I hired this cleaning service about two months ago. The initial cleaning was well done and very professional. However, that is because the owner is the one who did the cleaning. She seems to be the only person in the company who actually cares about doing the job right. After that, her employees "cleaned" my condo once a week when I wasn't home. I didn't realize at the time that the owner wasn't coming by herself. She sends an itemized list of what is actually cleaned in the house, but I noticed that almost half of that wasn't being cleaned on a weekly basis. On the last day, I came home early to find two young women desultorily running a sponge over my kitchen cabinets. They stayed for an hour, which I saw personally after not cleaning about 90% of what is on the regular cleaning list. This incident was the last chance for the company, as I had brought to the owners attention previous to this that things weren't being cleaned that should have been. She said that she would personally take care of it. Well, she wasn't there again on that last day so I wrote her an email encouraging her to come and look at the house and the way it was left. She didn't call, email or show up. I did however, get a bill that charged me full price for the last cleaning. Unbelievable. I reported her company to the BBB. We'll see what comes of it, if anything. This doesn't even cover the regular breakages either. This area has a lot of 'big money' housing, and I can only assume that unless you own one of the large homes, you don't get the personal attention of the owner, who it seems, has the only work ethic in the company.
