I'd been in my house for 4 years and had no idea when/if my ducts had (ever) been cleaned. I noticed the deal on Angie's List and compared the price with others. After reading the great reviews for J&M, along with the very reasonable price, I decided to hire them. The team arrived as scheduled and proceeded to efficiently go about the cleaning routine. Apparently, my ducts hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, if ever. I'm not sure how old the ducts are but the house is over 80 years old. I guess the ducts were pretty bad. But, the team got everything cleaned out - and found some interesting items that had landed in there over the years. I'm glad I had it done and am now breathing cleaner air.

These 2 men were terrific! professional, down to earth , very hard working. spent 3 hours doing 12 air ducts (one was 15 feet off the floor)- and they had to go on the roof to do the dryer vent at no charge. did the heater as well. very competent and thorough. Our home is cleaner now than ever. will use them again. highly recommend them.

It went great. I had plans right after they were coming, so they accommodated my schedule by coming earlier than normal. They were thorough and did a great job. They were always careful to take off their shoes in the house. The people who owned the house before us had a big dog, and they said they found a lot of dog hair in the vents. The dryer vent was almost totally clogged to the point of being dangerous, mostly from dog hair. They even vacuumed up the crumbs for me that they found when they moved the couch to get to one of the vents. I would hire them again, and I highly recommend them.

They damaged one duct but fixed it at no cost

So much better than expected. I wish that every professional company I hired were as thorough, hard working, paid attention to details I was not even aware of, and more professional than any company I have ever hired. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of quality experienced service people who truly care about the customer....so much so, that they helped me to understand all about my venting system, and how I can be a responsible homeowner in regards to my system and it's function in maintaining a clean home.

These guys were great! I bought the deal through Angie's List for air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. My husband and I purchased the house about 3 weeks ago and the ducts were pretty gross. We wanted to get them cleaned up before using the heater for the first time. Mike and Mike were really friendly and professional and went beyond what was expected. First of all, they found a duct full of asbestos that they were not able to clean (which is fine) but I was not aware of it. Without them, I would have used the heater and had all of that junk floating in the air. Now at least I can address that issue. The lead Mike (seemed like the one in charge so I will call him that), was super awesome. He took a knife and cut open a painted over old vent that had been sealed off. The cavity was full of dust and plaster chunks. He vacuumed it and totally cleaned it out. That was really great of him to do and was above and beyond. While cleaning the dryer flexi hose-thing that connects to the vent that goes outside, the dryer unexpectedly stopped working. Lead Mike, opened up the back of the dryer and reached inside it to find a walnut! He cleaned that out and the dryer started working again. The guys were great and I totally recommend their services.

They were punctual and did an amazing job thoroughly cleaning all our vents and air returns. It took longer than normal due to the old vents in our house, but they didn't charge us more than the original quote. Would definitely recommend their company!!

When the technicians came out to clean they were punctual and professional. They took the time to drop cloth around their work area and made sure to cover our TV and move a nice clock that was on the wall near one of our vents. Unfortunately, almost immediately, they came across an issue where the duct liner got caught in the brush used to clean the system. They stopped all work until they could bring in an inspection camera to determine the problem. The owner came out with the scope and found that there had been debris (sharp scrap of sheetmetal) in the duct from when the house was built. Before proceeding he asked if he could open up some sheetrock in the ceiling to figure out how extensive the damage was. Upon opening the area around the vent he discovered that the duct hose had not been properly attached to the sheetmetal of the vent He did not charge for any of the time he was at our house diagnosing the problem; he also made sure to keep me informed me of the problem as he worked and what would need to be done to solve the problem. The next week he made the time to come out with the technician so that I would feel comfortable that the job was completed satisfactorily. The technician was quick, professional, and cleaned up thoroughly. Once again the owner did not charge for his time and discounted the hourly rate of the technician. When I mentioned that I would now need to reschedule the cleaning, that I had already paid for via an Angie's List deal, the owner was very open and honest in letting me know that he would not feel right performing the service. He was afraid that they may run in to other issues with the ducting not installed correctly. If this was the case they would then have to go through the process again of opening areas of the ceiling and installing new ducts. He did not want to lose my business, but he did not feel he could morally continue work that may cause further damage. He offered to get in touch with his competitor that have a different duct cleaning process that should cause less problems. He called on my behalfm discussed the situation and made sure they gave me a discount, since their service is significantly more expensive. Obviously they refunded my deal that I purchased, promptly and without issue. I would highly recommend this company and the owner, Jeremiah, to anyone due to his professionalism, responsiveness, and honesty.

Very professional crew - called when they were on their way with an approximate arrival time. Reviewed the job to be done, then got to work immediately. Completed cleaning of all air ducts and the dryer vent in an efficient manner and cleaned up after themselves. Inspected the crawl space. Suggested next cleaning in 3 years. Will definitely use them again.
