I have to say I received excellent service from the start, working with Kelli to provide information about the garage doors to providing an estimate. She replied the same day to questions I had and helped me get the doors installed before the estimate date initially provided. Ricky and Matt came out on Saturday and worked all day doing an excellent job. They arrived at the scheduled time, answered questions and gave excellent customer service.

Ricky showed up during the window i was scheduled. He listened to to what i thought was wrong with the garage door. He assessed and told me exactly what he was going to do. First he told me that a new garage door opener wasn't necessary and that replacing the broken spring and readjusting the stabilizing bracket is what i needed. He went to work and got the job done very quickly and cleaned up after himself when the job was done. He again went over the work he did and recommended that i consider replacing my rollers in the future and told me what kind of deals the company had in the past and to look out for those. The company did a great job in getting out to fix my issue on the same day. ricky was very professional and a good guy all around. I would definitely recommend them to other users and also will use them in the future to replace my garage door rollers.

Ordered the $205 special for spring replacements for one of our garage doors. The garage door was not closing very well, bouncing and going back up at times. We have the old wooden garage doors. I figured that's what needed to be done so it was what I purchased. The technician came and looked things over and said our garage door opener was fine and our springs were fine. Joel adjusted the cables and lubed the garage door tracks and it has been working fine since. I figured for sure he would say we needed a new opener and all kinds of other things but he didn't. I was very surprised because our opener is a twenty year old Sears Craftsman. I know eventually I will need a new opener and will not hesitate to call Distribu-Doors. Joel was very nice and professional and we appreciated his honesty.

Joel did a great job - arrived early and was done in 30 minutes. Advised me of the condition of the door and showed me some features I didn't realize I had. I had bought an Angie's List deal for tune up and weather stripping replacement, but Joel explained I didn't need that much work, so he billed me (25% less) and I asked Angie for a refund on the big deal. Joel was personable, professional, and told me exactly what I needed to know. He has a lot of experience, and though he's new to DistribuDoors, he raves about how happy he is to be working there. I'll definitely call on them again, and if the topic of garage doors ever comes up in future conversation, my friends will have to listen to my plug for DistribuDoors.

My garage door started not closing completely and opened again. I had to try to close again a few times before it "settles" down. After a few weeks, I had found out that one of rails was misaligned and the top two part of the door were bent so the door stopped closing at all. I called four different places from Angie's List to get the quotes. All but one responded pretty quickly (the one followed up after a few days). One contractor came out in-person and took a look at it, and that was pretty good experience. For DistribuDoors and other place, I sent pictures to get the free quote. The response from DistribuDoors was pretty quick and pricing sounded reasonable. I have old detached garage and just spent $20k to hook up to the sewer after the failed septic system, so I didn't want to spend too much money so I went with DistribuDoors because they had the most affordable pricing as well as carrying non-insulated door, which fit my need as well as my budget. Kelli from DistribuDoors came out to take a look and do the measurement once I had decided to go with them. She came a bit later than the appointment time (like 15 min?), but it wasn't big deal because she called me a bit ahead of time that she would be a bit behind, which I loved. I worked with bunch of contractors 1.5 years ago and no one was neither punctual nor communicating well. Anyway, she took a close look at my garage door and explained me what they would do to replace the door as well as fixing the rails as well as the spring position. Also she explained what was done incorrectly by the previous contractor. She also gave me recommendation on the door when I asked her between couple of doors I was considering (insulated vs non-insulated). She was very honest and recommended based on the customer needs, not tried to up-sell bunch of options. She told me I would be fine with uninsulated unless I want to make a part of the garage as the workshop. Once I had decided the door, she gave me the ETA of the time the work would be done. I got the call couple of days before ETA that Kelli gave me for scheduling the work. They came out on time and finished the work much faster than what they had estimated (3.5 hours estimated but finished in couple of hours). The door is much smoother than before and it closes very nicely. Everything was done the same way that Kelli described. Non-insulated door felt as sturdy as my previous door, if not sturdier (the new door is better than Home Depot door that I had before). I would definitely recommend DistribuDoors to my friends.

The installer, Jesse Lopez, was a friendly yet total no-nonsense professional. He took out two separate old garage doors, old hardware and door openers and then installed new ones in about 6 hours. He cleaned up and hauled away all of the debris. I was totally impressed with his expertise and the end result looks great. My duplex has much greater street appeal. The new doors operate smoothly and are a lot quieter than the old original wooden ones. All in all a great job. The doors were purchased through Home Depot who subbed out the job to DistribuDoors. The price of $2185 is before tax.

We are living in a home new to us. The garage door squealed and made terrible noises. The technician who came to work on the door was prompt, friendly, informative, and efficient. He gave us advice for cleaning the mold off the door and also suggested that we recode the outside opener. The door now works smoothly and only makes normal garage door noises when it goes up and down.
Description of Work: We purchased a garage door tune-up through Angie's list for $80. The technician also told us that the weather stripping was not complete across the bottom of the door so we had that replaced for $55. He also helped us recode the outside opener.

Ron called to set up a date of service and get some details (dimensions and color) of the garage door. Dusty came and performed the work. Both were very friendly and professional. Dusty kindly suggested that we need to replace the rollers on our door eventually. Without any pressure he let us know the door was in good condition and replacement of the rollers would be minimal cost and if done while he was there we would be saving another service call charge down the road and we agreed.
Description of Work: Performed general maintenance on our garage door. Replaced weather stripping around the frame and on the bottom of the door, which was part of the Big Deal. Additionally, we had 10 rollers replaced.

It was very easy to contact Distribudoors and schedule an appointment. They were very responsive and could answer many of my questions over the phone. I initially had them do a garage door tune up and replace the weather stripping. At that time, the technician performed a multi-point safety checklist of the garage door. He rated everything as "good." I had a good experience with the company, so a few months later, I had them install a new garage door opener. At that time, the technician did the same safety checklist and noted several things to be only in "fair" condition. Based on his assessment and what I know about the maintenance history, age, and use of my garage door system, I decided to go ahead and have all of the rollers replaced. On both occasions, the technicians were nice, worked quickly, and were good about answering my questions. No high pressure sales pitches, either. The one thing I learned, though, was to recognize that those safety checklists are pretty subjective. Overall, a good experience, and I would use them again.

It went excellent; I would say they here about an hour. Come to find out the previous owner never put track on the bottom of the door, so there was an additional charge (no biggy, approx. $50) to install track - so that they could replace the weather stripping on the door. They replaced the worn-out weather stripping around the door and made sure the drive train was lubricated and working correctly.

DistribuDoors installed my current garage door in 2007. I was satisfied with them then and called them again to service the door spring. The representative, Dusty, arrived on time. I explained the issue with the door and he said it would be a quick fix. I also asked about installing a garage door opener. He explained the types, pros and cons and what would work best for my garage and the range of costs. I told him to schedule me for an installation with a specific brand. He said he had one in his truck and could do it then. I told him to go ahead. Installation took a couple of hours. At the end, he cleaned up all the debris and sawdust, gave my wife and I a run down of the system and all its features. The cost was as agreed and he waived the service call fee for the original call. Dusty was polite, personable, and treated my property like it was his. He is a great representative for the company.

The house I purchased had the original garage doors and openers from the 80's. Needless to say, that was not acceptable. I'm one of selective few who believes in actually parking my car in the garage to keep it safe and protected from the elements; it's not a glorified storage area like with other people. As such I needed the garage to work but quietly and efficiently. I installed a 3/4 HP Chamberlain on one of the doors; it installed fine, but was struggling to lift and manage the door. I'd had Seattle Garage Doors out to replace the springs, which they did. But the door was still not smooth or as quiet as I would have liked. It was also rickety and squeaked like mad. When I called DistribuDoors, the gal who answered the phone (who BTW is the reason I knocked a star off) should be fired or reassigned. When I asked for someone to come out and assess the situation and make recommendations, she said "we don't do that". That's odd...really odd. According to her "if you buy a garage door, then we can send someone out". Hmmm. After ranting at her for a few seconds, she offered to have me speak to JD, who was a breath of fresh air. He clarified that yes, they can come assess the situation, but there is an $80 service visit charge, which is credited towards whatever you do end up paying for (if anything). That's fine - as long as I know about it. Dusty stopped by, polite and respectful as can be, and gave the door a once-over. Recommended new rollers (which I'd planned to do at some point), some adjustments, and new springs. He noted that Seattle Garage Doors used springs that weren't thick enough to hold a solid wood door (thus why the garage opener was struggling, as it was basically holding the full weight of the door both directions). He had everything swapped out, tightened the Chamberlain, and did lubrication all throughout. Door now opens and clothes smoothly and silently as expected. I was very pleased with the work. What's more, they charged half what Seattle Garage Doors charged for springs. I really was pleased with the appointment and Dusty is to be commended. I hate knocking off a letter. But I want the company to know that the gal answering the phone is likely costing them business. She needs to either be retrained or reallocated. In summary (so people don't get misled by her): YES, DistribuDoors will come and assess the problem if your garage door just isn't working right and you know it. NO, it's not a free visit. There's a service charge. If you buy something, springs, rollers, doors, whatever....the service charge is credited against that. So if you pay $400 for parts, you're not paying $480, the $80 is included in the parts cost. NO, DistribuDoors will not push you into buying a new door if you don't need it. If yours is perfectly fine and just needs TLC they will offer that first. If you want a new door they'll sell you one, but it's not their lead-in.

Heather, the Distribudoors representative came out to our house to give us an estimate for removing the old door and installing a new one. Heather was very professional and made sure that she provided all of the details down to giving us the option of wood or plastic materials for the edge that surrounds the door. She was very patient in working for us because I am a stay-at-home retired husband and my wife is a facilities manager for a large organization. I made the initial decisions on materials and design, but my wife, being a former commercial architectural designer had some "refinements" she wanted to make, including switching the manufacturer of the product we ordered. It was all in a days work and "water off of a ducks back" for Heather. Heather executed the changes and ordered the doors. Distribudoors call a few weeks after the order was finalized to tell me that the doors had arrived and gave me the names of the technicians who would show up at between 8 and 9 in the morning on a given day. For those of you who use Distribudoors; be prepared for these guys to show up on time. I thought I could squeeze in my morning trip through the Starbuck's drive through. On my way back I got a call from my 20 year-old daughter in a minor panic over "these guys at the front door". The call came to me at exactly 7:58. I rounded the corner and there was Ricky and an associate raring to go. They explained that the associate was there for the removal of the old door, which they sawed into four sections and removed, and then Ricky would take over on the installation of the new product. There wasn't a hitch or a glitch. Ricky was gone by 3:00. We only have one garage door and as solid and beautiful as it is it will be the last one we install onto this house. I have but one house to give-otherwise, I would use them again (don't worry Distribudoors, we know the door takes servicing over time).
