DistribuDoors is proud to serve the Puget Sound and we are so grateful for the reputation our loyal customers have helped us build over the last 30 years. Description of Work: Garage door springs had loosened, making it difficult to raise by hand, much less with the garage door opener. | |Technician arrived promptly, examined the door, adjusted the helical coil springs, and lubricated all the moving parts. He explained that while the door did not have ball-bearing rollers, the nylon rollers were still in good shape. He suggested that they may eventually need to be replaced, but replacement was not needed or recommended at this time. | |The service was great, the technician was prompt, honest and friendly. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: My garage door wouldn't close. I called Distrudoor to fix it. The service man had trouble finding my address, I had to walk up the street to guide him. He did a couple of adjustments and the door worked okay for about a week. It is now not closing again, but if I hold the button on the wall down it does eventually close. For the amount of time he was here and for what little he did/didn't do I consider the charges to be high.

Thank you for this information (removed member's name). We appreciate any input that can help us service our customer's homes even better. Your door only closing when holding the wall button is actually a symptom of your sensors having been knocked out of place or for some people the sun interfering with the beam of light that the sensors are outputting. If your door worked for a week, I am guessing something or somebody may have bumped in to your sensors. They can simply be realigned and your door should work just fine. Description of Work: They put in two new garage doors at our house and moved the garage door opener we had to the smaller new garage door. And they installed a new garage door opener for our larger garage door. It went great! The guy was really nice, efficient and professional. The quality and price were also good.
