The installer was great! He arrived right on time and worked efficiently to get the job done well. The installation took less time than the estimate was given and the installed even swept up the garage when he was done. I was a little frustrated at the beginning of the overall process because it took longer than I expected (couple days vs. same or next day) to connect with the sales rep to set up getting a quote and then receiving a proposal with only the options we wanted. (At my request the original quote had pricing for several options). But once I was handed off to the scheduler the process was much faster and smoother. This was actually the third time I had called DistribuDoors. They replaced a torsion spring that snapped in one of the cold snaps last winter, and did a "get it functioning again" same-day repair after one track was blocked and the old garage door ended up slightly warped and off it track. The damage from that incident was what necessitated the replacement, but the repair held up for a couple of months while we waited for the weather to improve and decided what to get.

Technician was knowledgable and worked quickly and efficiently. He arrived on time and was done in less than 1 hour. Doors function perfectly.

Refreshing to do business with a company that is very professional and knowledgeable. They showed up at the beginning of the time window they gave which saved me from waiting the whole window. They also were very honest and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. They also were very customer service friendly by honoring a coupon that wasn't exactly what I had done. Never pressured me to get anything done and did a great job.

Our technician, Charlie, was very professional and knowledgeable. He was a pleasure to deal with. He removed a broken spring from our garage door opener and replaced it with another. Charlie was confident and capable and he completed the work quickly and did a great job.

I emailed DistribuDoors on a Sunday evening and received an immediate response letting me know that someone would call me the following morning to schedule. On Monday morning the office called and they scheduled my repair the same day. The service technician was on time and very personal! Service tech offered options and prices, for replacement or repair/adjustment of existing spring and rollers. We opted for replacement, and job went as described and priced. Very good at explaining the situation. It was clear the service tech knew what he was doing and he left the job area clean.

The installer showed up right on time and was very polite. He installed the opener and an extension rail because I have an 8' door. He informed me that this was extra and I agreed that I did know about that surcharge in advance as stated on the Deal. The installation came out very nice, with all the remotes programmed, the control wired and mounted in the location of my choice and my wireless keypad mounted and programmed. The installer was also very aware and careful about how the wires were run. I appreciate the attention to detail. Upon completion, he gave me all the paperwork and manuals and answered a couple of my questions. He also took all the boxes and garbage with him and left the site just like he found it. The opener is a very nice opener, very good quality and very quiet. It has a nice feature with the slow launch and stop so as to not jolt the door. I would definitely recommend this opener to anyone. The only thing I would suggest is that the installer have knowledge of what the default mode is for the opener in terms of timer, auto-close and the features of how this works. In addition, the button/control pad in the garage is not working and I assume this is because it needs to be setup and have the time set etc... I can do this myself, but it would be nice to have that working before he left, especially since my door did not need any tune up (it is a brand new installation). I would recommend Distribudoors and this Liftmaster 8550 to anyone.

Good communication every step of the way. They were there on time for every leg of the transaction. They did a great job on the install and left the place cleaner than they found it. They even went above and beyond on special scheduling to accomidate my needs. No hidden costs, final cost was the estimate to the penny. I would refer Distribudoor to anyone. Their representative was prompt, competent, and very professional. (The door was virtually unusable with the broken spring, and I was anxious to get it repaired promptly.) They charged $185 for the spring replacement, and $90 for the new rollers (which allowed the door to operate beautifully). The total, with tax, came to $301.13. It's hard for me to judge, but that seemed like a fair price for the work and parts provided.

We just purchased the house and I really wanted to get a new garage door. My wife and I went to a home show where we met Distribudoors (along with 2 other garage door companies). We got quotes from all 3 companies, with Distribudoors coming in higher than the others. Why did we go with Distribudoors? The connection we made with John. He was straight, direct, and came across as genuine. Trust the man - trust the company. The door looks great and the installation went very smoothly... but I had an issue. We had ordered the windows with an insert (little squares). When John was explaining the different options, he pointed to our windows and said they had a garage window insert that matched the insert of our home windows. My wife and I thought the the insert would be BETWEEN the panes of glass. This was not the case. The inserts are plastic and are attached on the outside of the glass (on the garage side) and I felt they were low quality and cheaply made (which is why I put a "B" for quality) I called Distribudoors and JD, the project manager, was awesome!!!! I was prepared for resistance in returning the inserts. Instead, when I said that I was disappointed with the inserts and would like to return them he was right on it. He apologized for any misunderstandings, explained that garage door inserts are typically external (i.e. placed between the glass like home window inserts), and said that he will issue a credit right away and would send someone over to collect the inserts at a time that was convenient for us. I explained to my wife how impressed I was with the customer service. My wife mentioned that the inserts were growing on her and that the company was great every step of the way. She convinced me to keep them after all. I ended up calling JD again, explained that we will keep the inserts. Once again, JD was awesome. I highly recommend getting your new garage door with Distribudoors. Quality doors and excellent customer service.

Distribudoors was great from the start. Heather came to the house, took measurements and reviewed our options with us. We opted for the most insulated door, best opener, and windows which fit with the design of our house. She was very professional and personable, and took her time with us and our questions. The door was ready on time and installed beautifully. The installer was really good, again very professional, tidied up afterwards, and did a wonderful job. The door looks fantastic and works so smoothly and quietly. We are very happy with our experience with Distribudoors.

We couldn't be more pleased! A big shout out to Heather for a speedy estimate and working with us on a schedule for installation. Our old door was wooden and heavy. It came off the rail system and busted good this time but Distribudoors came through for us. It was affordable and we highly recommend this company.

The tech was prompt and replaced the rollers which seemed to help the problem but after a few weeks it is now worse than it was. The tech did not seem to have much in the way of suggestions. I called the company back on January 20th after putting it off more than once and they are going to come take another look at the door on the 29th. Hope to update this review after that.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went wonderful. They are a great company. They came to do the service about a week after I purchased the Big Deal. After I got their quote I thanked them and they left. I researched that brand and the cost at other agencies. They were very comparable and honest on their quote so I called them back and got them to install the new item. They were excellent -- friendly, on time and knowledgeable. I have recommended them to my family.

Everything went very well. I am very pleased with it. I purchased a big deal from Angie’s List and it was one of their specials that I took advantage of. I called prior to Christmas but then didn’t want it to be done during that week. So he was able to extend it out until January which was a convenient time. He showed up right on time and it was installed very quickly, efficiently and I was very happy with it.

Everything went excellent. The owner came out and bid both projects personally, arrived on time, didn't waste my time. Day of appointment, the technician also arrived precisely when they said they would. Work performed was excellent, materials were on-par with what I expected. ***WORTH NOTING*** Two days later, I had a (free) PSE "Energy Audit" appointment. I didn't plan it this way, it just was what it was. The PSE auditor went around my house with a very nice FLIR thermal imaging camera and found several areas where I needed better insulation, caulking, etc. And of course, while he was here, I had him check out my new garage doors. The PSE technician said he had been doing this for 3 years, and that he had never seen a set of garage doors this well sealed and insulated. His FLIR (forward looking infrared camera) showed virtually no air leaks on the seals, and the insulation factor was almost on par with my walls. I only ordered the base-level insulated doors, not the top-of-the-line doors. My only complaint - I know they're busy, and manpower is of course always needs to be counted on, but the technician had the flu. I just kept my distance. They should have let him take an extra day or two off so he didn't come into customers' houses sick. That being said, the poor (sick) guy did great work, and I do plan on using them for my shop doors when I'm ready.

That went great. We decided that we needed to have it serviced and we had an issue with our garage door that we also wanted to get some feedback from them on what we should do. It has been running great. They checked the tracks out and did a final check on it, changed out all the rollers and relieved what needed to be done.
