The service was excellent! Damien and Eugene were very knowledgeable and professional. Damien cleaned and checked the boiler and explained my programmable thermostat to me and made suggestions about the overall heat in my house. Eugene showed me how to open and close my radiators to control the amount of heat. They also re-attached part of the boiler coming loose from from the wall. I highly recommend them and will definitely call them again for service!!

They were out the next day, right on time. The tech worked and worked to find a problem and did, it was nothing he could fix but was able to see that the furnace was was not the problem. I have used Robbins Air for all my furnace/air conditioning needs for the last 10 years and have only had good techs show up. I see there is one F rating here, I am guessing that that person is now gone. As a small business owner I know we appreciate hearing if we have an employee not giving top service and take measures to rectify it. I try not to judge a business on one bad employee, often times the owner is not aware of the problem

Semi-annual inspection of Heat Pump and air handler.

We needed a system to replace the 60 (plus) year old, oil burning furnace, in a 1941, 1,210 sq. ft. house. Robbins Air came out and evaluated our situation. They came back with several options and quotes. We chose the ductless system and haven't regretted it. The installation went very smoothly. During the installation they showed a genuine interest that the unit was placed where it would function at it's best and still be aesthetically pleasing. We were very pleased with the service we received from all the individuals involved with this project. They even helped us with the paper work to receive a $300.00 rebate. We will definitely use them again, should the need arise, and will recommend to family and friends.

The service man came out to inspect it. His attitude was very superior. First he tromped in wearing his dirty boots without booties or any consideration for cleanliness. Then without putting down a tarp or anything he pulled the glass from the fireplace and immediately got soot on the floor. He told me I would need to vacuum it up with my vacuum when he was done. He inspected the pilot light and told me it wasn't working because we were having high winds that were blowing it out and recommended we replace the pilot unit. Ok a reasonable solution. He replaced the logs incorrectly so I showed him the diagram for them. He still did it wrong. He replaced the glass and relit the fireplace. When I said that I could smell combustion gases he blamed it on the wind. Then he walked over to the thermostat and announced the fireplace wasn't working because we had installed the wrong thermostat. I pulled the cover off and showed him it was the correct one which he grudgingly agreed with. He finally left. After some time I was still smelling combustion gases I discovered that he had not fully seated the glass which could have killed me from carbon monoxide had I not discovered it. Our fireplace draws its combustion air from outside the house and exhausts it outside as well so seating the glass incorrectly defeated the integrity of the fireplace. I contacted the store and told them I would never let that serviceman back in my house. I would gauge their concern as a 5 on a ten scale. I requested and received a refund for the call but that didn't ameliorate the danger he had placed us in. Never again.

An appointment was made for the morning after my call. He arrived right on time. Was very polite and fixed the problem immediately. We had a tune-up on the heater , long overdue. and work done was less than the estimate we received. Would not hesitate to recommend this co. or use them again.

Excellent. They thouroughly checked the entire heating system, including ducts, to assure that everything was as it should be.
