+ -1 moreGot the owner on the phone. Since my husband was at home and cold he said he'd go right out. He determined it was the thermostat, wentertainment and got a new one and installed it - all within 3 hours of my call!
Description of Work: Woke up one morning with no heat. Called another furnace place I town who told me since I wasn't already a customer they couldn't help.

Description of Work: I called Niquette Bros. and made an appointment for a leaking pipe under my kitchen sink. I had dealt with them before and knew that they are punctual and fairly priced. The problem was fixed to my satisfaction, and I will call them again whenever I have any plumbing problems.

And they did! Very friendly and obviously eager to be helpful! Very professional yet neighborly. Bill was lower than other estimates. I'm so glad I found Niquette Bros. Plumbing!

+ -1 moreThey told me that my current boiler couldn't be direct vented out the wall. I wanted to switch it from a chimney venting setup to a direct vent. He told me I would have to buy a new boiler which would cost about $8,000 to replace. I talked to VT Gas and they said to call others. I did. And I got the installation guide for the boiler. Totally possible!!! So glad I never just trust one opinion.

+ -1 moreArrived on time. Work finished in about 6 hours New furnace is 95.5% effecient, fantastic. Very good people, friendly and helpful. Mr. J. Niquette also helped me to figure out why water was coming into the basement and how to fix it. Great clean up.
Description of Work: 1. Removed old oil furnace and old oil tank and sealed chimney 2. Installed new natural gas furnace, new duct work, pvc exhaust out and air in from outside

+ -1 moreI liked the work they did. Once the heaters were installed and they weren't what we expected. We had a little bit of trouble having them communicate with the manufacturer to have the problem resolved. Eventually the problem was solved and everything was replaced and okay. They just took a long time. They were definitely the best price.
Description of Work: Niquette Brothers Plumbing Inc installed two heaters. The job started in August and was completed in September.
