Glenn was great to work with. He first painted 2 rooms. One had very high ceilings and was a very dark color. He was very fast with both rooms. Then he sanded and refinished wood floors on 2 levels. I wish I had before pictures. The floors had been nearly destroyed by the previous owners dogs. I didn't have too much hope for them, but they look nearly new. Glenn kept us updated with his progress, left the house very clean, and the floors look great. We plan on hiring him again for future projects.

Excellent job. Glenn was very thorough with the scraping, caulked clapboards where needed, then brushed on 2 coats of Sherwin-Williams. He has a great work-ethic, is very personable, neat and organized.

Glenn is very knowledgeable and so he was able to give us good advice on the finishes we chose. The work was carried out promptly, and professionally and the end result is stunning!! Glenn did such a good job on repairing the scar from the old dividing wall that we absolutely cannot see where it used to be. Needless to say we are more than just pleased!! We are planning on having more rooms in the house repainted when Glenn’s calendar opens up, he is very trustworthy and meticulous.

Glen did a great job, patching damage sheet rock before painting. It looks amazing - you can tell that it was done professionally. This is the second time we have hired Glen, he previously did repairs to sheet rock prior to painting our parlor, bedroom and en suite bath, entry foyer, staircase, and upper landing. He does excellent work, he is honest and reliable, and he cleans up before he leaves for the day.

We highly recommend Glenn. He was meticulous, organized and efficient. He was very conscientious and obviously took great pride in his work. He did an excellent job painting our home.

Glenn- did an excellent job screening and re-coating 685sf . My red oak wood floors hadn't been recoated in quite a few years ( I try to stay on top of this) and they really needed a re-coat, if you let them get too run down you have to take all the finish down to the wood and begin again which is more costly. Glenn came in and did a really nice job making them look smooth and almost new. He really takes pride in his work and doesn't seem to skimp corners. There was hardly any dust which was a really nice surprise!!!! He arrived when he said he was going to arrive and even came back a day or two after to check on his work. I would hire him again and would recomend him to others. He works alone so owners must have all furniture and rugs off the floor before he arrives

Glenn did a great job- on time and in line with his estimate, as per our last experience when he did the interior of the house. We had several blueberry bushes surrounding the house and he tied them down so as not to damage them while painting, which we appreciated.

We're extremely pleased with Glenn's work and his professional attitude. Having worked as a carpenter, he was able to make useful suggestions about how to improve the structure.

Glenn was excellent for all of our home repair needs. He does high quality work, prices are fair and he communicates well. I would highly recommend him for any future home repair needs.

Glenn Ricard was very responsive to my initial phone call (after finding him on Angie's list). He visited my house within the week and then provided a quote (by email) within a couple of days. The quote an all-inclusive materials + labor fixed quote and not a based-on-hours quote that most painters in this area offer. The quote was comparable to the others that I had gotten. A third of the quote had to be paid upfront to secure a spot on his list. Glenn is very clear in all his dealings. This might appear onerous at first, but it also makes things unambiguous and minimizing chances of misunderstanding. For example, we were out of town, but he insisted of us sending him the advance check by speed post. Any changes in the job were agreed to in writing. He gave us precise dates for when the work would start and accurate estimates of the time it would take. He was on time every day and let us know if any changes/delays in schedule of individual days. As part of the work he fixed imperfections on the walls and doors. He also moved all the furniture around to facilitate his work and did not require us to clear the rooms. The finished paint work was excellent and we were very pleased with the outcome. We have hired him again for some follow up work in the rest our house.

Excellent!!!! Good communication, punctual, and reliable

Glenn was great. Easy to work with, thorough, honest about what he could and couldn't do. Left the work area neat and clean every day, finished more quickly than expected. The only downside was that because he is in demand, I had to wait over ten weeks from the time we first agreed on the work until he was actually available. Fortunately I was not in a rush on this job and could wait. But knowing his busy schedule, next time I will contact him well in advance. I will definitely use him again!

Glenn did a great job. Although the walls were in decent shape, the quality of the wall materials and woodwork are pretty basic. Glenn's paint job made it all look beautiful -- much better and more high quality than before. I'm very happy with the result. He worked very carefully and cleanly, with attention to the details, and laid on some extra coats where needed. He had good suggestions regarding paint colors and finishes. He finished the job when he said he would and left the house clean. I enjoy working with Glenn. He is a nice guy, easy to get along with, and responsive to questions. He is also mowing my yard and will be doing some other projects on my house.

Glenn is a thoroughly professional painter. He arrived on the date we had scheduled and worked diligently until the project was finished. (I helped him by washing the cabinets and removing the door handles before he arrived). He was easy to have in my home and my husband and I enjoyed getting to know him. His price was far and away the very best of the three painting proposals we received. We are very happy with the look of our kitchen cabinets and have scheduled him to paint a bathroom for us!

Again, an excellent job by Glenn Ricard. We didn't even explore other options after our first experience with Glenn three months earlier. He is exceptionally professional, dependable and adept at his job. He pulls no surprises and the final cost of the project was even LESS than he initially quoted me, which never happens. We hope to be in touch with him again in the future with other home improvement projects.

I am amazed what Glenn Ricard is capable of doing!!! I have known him for about 6 years,and in that time he has painted the inside and the outside of my house. He has also put a new roof on my house! In December of 2014 he brought my dingy wood floors back to their beautiful shine and warmth! He has always been on time and has always answered my questions, stupid or otherwise!! He is very easy to get along with, and if he can't make it on the time he said he would be here, he calls me so I'm not waiting around for nothing! I would recommend Glenn Ricard for any job one needs done!! He has great knowledge of any job the customer would like to have done!!

Glenn is extremely efficient and professional. When I first met him, he walked through the home with me and started asking detailed questions from the get-go, much more than the two previous contractors whom I asked to come provide an estimate. Glenn's price was very competitive; he quoted several thousand less than at least one of the other contractors for the same work. He completed tasks thoroughly and was finished with the entire project in the time he initially quoted. The quality of the painting was excellent. The wood floors had some patchy spots in the end, but overall look tremendously improved from their previous condition. We will, without question, ask him to help with future projects.

Glenn has been excellent. His work is meticulous and careful. He takes great pride in his work, both the staining and painting. We see that he has done an excellent job and our contractor is really please about his work, too.

Excellent job! Glenn had to work around the weather and other workers on site but he do so and completed a high quality job on time and within the price quote. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Glenn to anyone who needs a painter. He did such a great job, worked quickly and cleaned up after each day. I was very happy with the work he did and will ask him to return when I have more projects.
