+ -1 moreAwful! The guys who worked here we nice and did the job. However, communication with Warren the owner was worse than atrocious. He made promises and agreements and didn't follow through in terms of scheduling, cost, reimbursement for heat left on 90 degrees while I was away for a week and by far the worst offense was using turpentine although he committed to use only no and low VOC products. When I called to inquire, he brushed me off; literally hung up the phone and had his insurance company contact me. He is a dishonest and untrustworhy man who does not take responsibility or follow through with his commitments. What a way to run a local business. I do not recommend this company. Overpriced

Description of Work: Sanded oak floors in one bedroom, one hallway and three closets. They also repaired three areas in the hallway by replacing damaged flooring with new. They finished the work with three coats of poly. The workers came on time, confined the work area with plastic sheets and took away all debris. |There were no surprises.

Description of Work: Cherry floors refinished in living and dining rooms and kitchen. They sanded and applied 3 coats of poly (over several days). Everything went well and we were able to get back in a day earlier than we'd expected. Good Job!

Description of Work: Refinished (sand/varnish) approximately 500 square feet pine wood floor. Interactions were pleasant and efficient, and work was done promptly. Resulting floors look good. I would have given an overall A rating if they had done a better job cleaning up the dust after sanding.

+ -1 moreAll the personnel were punctual, efficient, and pleasant. They did not spend a lot of time promoting themselves or their products, but they were quite responsive to questions and discussion. The results were beautiful.
Description of Work: We bought a cork floor for our 14X16 foot living room, to be installed over cement slab. The visit for the estimate was about a week and a half before the installation. The estimate was given by a manager, and the installation was completed by two younger workers, in about a half-day.

+ -1 moreWe purchased prefinished, hand scraped hard wood flooring and installation from Woodline Floor Sales. They are the only flooring co. in Vermont to offer the particular wood we desired. They delivered the wood ahead of schedule and then installed it a week later, after it had acclimated (as is indicated by the manufacturer). The installers were professional, quiet, neat, and did a beautiful job artistically speaking. We are THRILLED with their work ethic and would highly recommend them.
