Lowell's Moving and Delivery

GREAT! These guys are affiliated with another moving service who recommended them when they were unavailable (cool, huh?). Dave and John were both very friendly, polite, and considerate. They moving speedily and with great care while getting the job done in the most time-efficient manner. I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They took pride in their work and they took care with my dad's items. Good help isn't always hard to find. And, when you need moving services, you'll find really good help with Lowell's! Three movers arrived at our house a little bit early. We provided them with a walk-through to show them which pieces we wanted to have moved since we were doing a lot of the smaller stuff to save money. They went right to work and were very quick and seldom took a break! Many of our pieces are antiques, though not in excellent condition. I was appreciative of the fact that they were extremely careful (moreso than I am, sometimes), making sure nothing got damaged or damaged the walls in either home. The guys managed to do the whole move in 2 1/2 hours break-down to put-up, and they did so having to sometimes dodge our excitable and very active dog (who was able to get herself out of the basement repeatedly). When they set furniture into our new home, they had a good eye for how things looked. They said they do a lot of work for interior designers, which is what helps them with the good eye and being very careful. They did bring 3 people rather than 2 and charged a 3-person rate, but I am sure they got the move done a lot faster with 3 and, I think, probably actually saved us money.
