+ -1 moreI didn't like him. He charged $60 to come to the house whether it needed anything or not. I just wasn't very happy with him. I didn't think he was great. He charged me $60 to come to the house and tell me he couldn't do anything. He came when he said he would. He came right on time. He could have charged less on the service call when he couldn't do anything. He wasn't at fault for not being able to do anything but it just seemed like a lot of money to tell me he couldn't do anything.
Description of Work: I used Fellows Appliance Services.

+ -1 moreSprung a leak where line had been spliced together. Mr Fellows came back and replaced all copper tubing with plastic tubing at his cost.
Description of Work: stopped leak to ice maker in my refrigerator by splicing new copper tubing in to remaining piece of tubing.

Description of Work: Replaced a small heater unit in our refrigerator freezer to avoid frost buildup. He came on time, was friendly and informative as to the problem and took car e of the issue promptly. I would definitely use him again.

+ -1 moreGary arrived the same day I called him for help. I read about him here on angie's list and all comments seemed to ring true for me as well. Prompt, courteous, able to analyze the problem quickly, then fixed it in a jiffy. I thought, with a 14 year old washing machine, that I might need a new one, but Gary said it was a very easy fix! He even told me I did not need a new hose for my dryer! Very pleased and would surely use him again.
Description of Work: Determined the cause of my temperamental washing machine...then proceeded to fix it.

+ -1 moreGary was great. Professional, pleasant, fixed the appliances in short order and -- so far -- they continue to work just fine. When our dishwasher was having problems, we foolishly called Sears first (it being a Kenmore). The repair guy they sent was very friendly and gave us some useful freebie advice on a funny thing about our stove, but he was iffy on diagnosing the problem with the dish washer and was steering us away from repair and toward replacing it with something new. Instead, we came to our sense and called Gary and he figured it out in no time flat, and fixed it for much, much less than the same fix would have cost from Sears. Tomorrow I will call him again because our clothes washer is broken. I strongly recommend him.

+ -1 moreGreat - got me and appointment quickly and worked with my schedule. Fixed right away. Still no bill so wondering if because it was such an easy fix he may not even charge? Unlike other creepy local wood stove maintenance guys, was refreshing to have a professional repairperson.
