Description of Work: Put down an 8x10 vinyl laminate (wood look) floor in my 86-year old father's condo living and charged him $2,000. About twicethe cost it should have been. I'll never use him myself and caution others not to either.

Description of Work: New 30 year shingles on roof and other construction services

Description of Work: We contracted Mr. Howard on 5/15/08 to paint the exterior of our house which was newly restored. He had done some work for us the previous year. He arrived as promised in June but before completing the work, he and his 2 young male helpers vanished without a word on 7/30/08. No phone calls, no emails, no explanation. Brushes were left in cans of paint, drops cloths on the ground and ladders left standing against the walls. My kayak was also stolen that night. Six months later (2/25/09) he contacted us requesting payment for the job and that he would come and retrieve his equipment which we kindly stowed away under cover for the winter. We never received an explanation or an apology for his actions. He came to our house when we were not at home and told his belongings. We emailed asking for an explanation and never received a reply. I would not hire this person again.
