+ -1 moreIt went great we called Mark on Saturday afternoon and he called us back on Sunday morning and he was onsite Monday afternoon to do the work. Which for VT is incredible, usually you call and then 4-5 days later you might get a call back and then cross your fingers someone shows up. Super nice guy and honestly I have been singing him praises everyday since for coming and helping us out with what really wasn't a big job (the job was just located in a really bad spot that if you don't like steep roofs you probably wouldn't have done it either) but he just jumped (I should say climbed in) and went to town. I would recommend Mark to anyone and I look forward to working with him again. Thank you, Mark it was much appreciated!!!!
Description of Work: Two old bathroom air vent covers over time had become dried and brittle. During a storm 5/31/14 one of the vents blew off the house and it was only a matter of time before the second vent flew off the house in a storm. The vents were located on a 2nd story peak over the house on a steep roof with no where to really work. We had tried to do the work ourselves but after getting up on the roof decided the job wasn't in our wheelhouse. Mark came over went up and inspected the details, took the covers we had purchased and installed them in 20 minutes. Which was a good thing since the next day we had big thunderstorms coming thru and without the vent covers in place there's a good chance we would have water in both of the upstairs bathrooms. So Mark really saved our bacon on this one. Plus, he was nice enough to go thru the details on some other projects we have and will be back to work on them.

+ 0 moreThis is the second time I have used Mark for home repairs. The first time was a bit more extensive. He fixed a leaking hose under my kitchen sink and replaced a stove burner for me. This time, I needed to have the inside of a toilet replaced. Mark is very conscientious, friendly, communicative and professional. A jack of all trades. His prices are fair. I've already have a quote from him to have gutters put in place. The price is right on target. I have had horrible service from other repairmen and plumbers. Mark is the complete opposite. I highly recommend him.

+ 0 moreWe hired Mark after we moved into a new house that was build in 1880 and needed some basic work with rebuilding outdoor stairs, replacing attic window, painting, shutter repair and painting and wall insulation of basement. He started the work and completed things as he was able. Not everything got done right away but the things that were necessary did. We will continue with him to complete outdoor painting next Spring and liked and trusted him. His prices were fair and his referrals for work he couldn't do were helpful.
Description of Work: Mark assessed problems with gutters and repaired them, repaired broken stairs and found good people for me to work with outside his area of expertise ie foundation repair. He is reliabe, capable and very easy to work wtih.
