Over the years, Ryan's has done a total of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of work for me and/or my clients over the decades, and the outcomes have always been good. They show up on time, do professional work, and charge a reasonable amount. They'll even end someone when there's a weekend emergency (for regular customers, at least). My philosophy of hiring subcontractors is to find really good, reliable people, and stick with them long term. That's how you get the best results, and the best service. Remember: you get what you pay for.

The only negative in this first experience with Ryan's was waiting two weeks for a response to my initial phone calls. Since our old furnace was taken out of service after a routine service call, we were anxious to find a replacement before the winter weather set in, and I was expecting a quicker response. Once Ryan's did get back to me, however, things went very well. Dennis Senesac proved to be very professional yet personable, and he very patiently answered all my questions. From all I could tell, the cost of the unit -- including a burner upgrade -- plus labor seemed fair, although I wasn't able to find another contractor who could give me a quote on the same model. The work was done in slightly less time than promised, and with minimal disruption to our normal household activities. In response to my request for a final inspection, Dennis called owner Tim Ryan, and Tim came and did it. He also was very good to work with, and stayed until everything was satisfactory. The day after the job was completed, I noticed some air leaking from the plenum. In response to my call, crewman Steve came over as soon as he could and sealed it up. Tim Ryan called me afterwards, and made sure I was happy with what was done. Since then, the unit has been trouble-free. Based on our overall experience, I would give Ryan's a positive recommendation, and would not hesitate to use them again, if the need arose.

There was some extra work involved to get one of the toilets out and back in. They were excellent. They were industrious and handled the curveball really well. Their price was very reasonable.

They are completely honest, what they say is what they are going to do. They explain things very well and they are correct. They are honest and do a good job.

When we pruchased our home we knew it needed a new furnace. Dennis Senesac did a wonderful job giving us a detailed estimate that was right on target Shortly after moving in we discovered problems in the kitchen sink. We called Dennis. Scott Crane arrived and in less than a day had that problem cleared. He went to work removing the old boiler that was a leaky mess that was 30 to 40 years old and falling apart. The new system and the associated piping is a thing of beauty. Our home uses well water and so we opted to install a new water softener. Because of the age of our home and the distance between the well and the house Scott suggested a whole house water filter and we are thankful for the suggestion. The filter is easy to change and clearly shows what we would have been in our drinking water. ( lots of grit , etc) These people are wonderful to work with, true professionals who we are happy to recommend.

Dennis, the estimator seemed very knowledgeable. Took off his shoes on entry to the house, that's considerate. Next report after the service if I choose their quote.

They have come out a couple of times. We were very pleased with their service. They were prompt and their repairs were timely. There was one case where we thought we had a leak and they came right back to check it and fix the problem. They were very attentive to service after the sale. We would absolutely use them again.
