I found an ad on Craig's List for dry firewood from Eric 802 598-0173 and Ted from Governor Peck rd, Underhill. I spoke to Eric and he said he would drop off 2 cords the next day. The wood delivery was prompt and I stacked the wood that afternoon/evening inside my shed. when stacking it, I noticed that there were several rotted pieces. it also had a strange musty almost urine like odor. and half the pieces were all cut at abnormally short lengths which made stacking more challenging. It was about a week or so later that I started to burn it. I noticed immediately that it was not burning properly. It took forever to catch and the temp never got hot. It did not make a hollow noise when I banged 2 pieces together and it appeared to have been recently cut or split. I tried repeatedly to work something out with both men. Eric completely avoided contact and Ted apologized and offered to swap out piece by piece for some good wood that he just got. However, he never followed up and avoided my texts. I will never order from these guys again!
