I went to one of our local hardware stores and said, "Hey, what do I do? Can I order a new part?" They gave me that name and said, "Give these people a call and they may be able to help you." They were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond. The lady that normally goes and measures - the woman I spoke to, she typically only does commercial properties, but lived in Northfield. She said, "You know what. If you're going to be home on my way home this evening I'll be happy to come and measure it. Look at your door and see if we can get the part for you." So she did that and then said, "This isn't our busy time of the year. If you'd like I can get you set up with the residential people and have somebody come out and install it for you, which they did. It was a very good experience. I think it was $70 an hour. It cost me around $140 or $150. The door insert was around $70 or $80. It was heck of a lot cheaper because it is a $1200 door. We've only lived in the house for three years and it never sealed really well. He actually adjusted the seal. He said the jamb needs to be adjusted and he went ahead and did that as well and I didn't get charged extra. Hopefully they do residentials on a regular basis because they were fantastic.
Description of Work: I have a front door. The glass insert frame broke and was falling out.
