+ -1 moreI had four listings with Homeaway. In the past I would get inquiries all the time. Then they sold out and changed the business model. I now get no inquiries. Because of the changes, I did not renew my listings. Yesterday, I thought I would try again. I bought a listing for $549.99. I was listing a vacation rental in Rye, NH. Rye is a small community with only 37 vacation rentals listed on Homeaway. After submitting my listing, I searched for my property listing. I came up as the 649th listing!!! How is that possible? There are only 37 vacation rentals in Rye, NH! This is the same problem that happened when I chose not to renew. Customer service couldn't do anything about it! They would write up a ticket and I would get an e-mail that they were working to resolve the problem. That's the same baloney they told me last time! Homeaway, unfortunately is a terrible product. For years I loved their company, product and service. Very disappointing!
Description of Work: Homeaway/VRBO is a search engine for vacation rental properties. The product no longer works. I had been a customer since 2009. The product and customer service used to be great. They sold out and changed the model. The new model does not work at all.They really were a great business. It is total shame that they have destroyed such a success story. The CEO should be replaced!
