Richard arrived 30 minutes early to discuss getting an estimate for my project. He immediately told me that he wasn't interested in the job. He said that he preferred to work on "multi-million dollar homes that wouldn't require as much work" ... so he could make more money. I told him that any repairs on the siding were already planned for another contractor. He told me still wasn't interested. He told me that the job would take him a month. When I told him that it had only taken 2 weeks the prior time it was painted, he chuckled and said "yeah, well how long did that last?" I told him 20 years. This was very disappointing that I took the time out of my work day to discuss the project and he didn't do more than walk up my driveway. He clearly felt that I wasn't a client who could afford him and wasn't worth his time. Very unprofessional and bordering on rude.

Very, very fine job. A complex job, it was not a problem for them at all. The house is large, and has large window and doors. They knew other fine contractors who could help remove the very heavy and large storm windows 20 feet high off the ground. We didn't do the large mahogony doors as we were originally going to do, what type of finish requires further investigation. Overall very efficient, polite and professional.

R&R did exactly what they said they'd do exactly when they said they would do it and for exactly the price agreed upon. Can't ask for more than that. They said they would do an excellent job and they did.

MY WIFE AND I BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOME IN DEC. OF 2013. AFTER GETTING SETTLED WE WANTED TO START PAINTING THE ROOMS TO OUR COLORS AND CHOICES. AFTER MUCH RESEARCH WE CALLED LOCAL PAINTER R&R PAINTING (RICHARD AND RICH) TO SET UP A VISIT AND GET ESTIMATES. RICHARD SHOWED UP VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL AND WE DISCUSSED WHAT I WANTED. NOW BEING OUR FIRST AND PROBABLY LAST HOME I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD BE QUITE PARTICULAR OF THE WORK BEING DONE. WE REALLY LIKED THAT THE TWO PARTNERS WOULD BE DOING ALL THE WORK THEMSELVES SO IT WAS DIRECT CONTACT WITH THEM EVERYDAY. THEY WERE ON THE JOB WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE AND WERE ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY CLEANED, PATCHED UP AND SANDED CEILINGS AND WALLS. THEY HAD QUITE A BIT OF PATCHING THINGS UP AND SMOOTHING THINGS OUT BEFORE THEY COULD LAY ANY PAINT. THEY WERE MORE THAN HAPPY AND WILLING TO DO ANYTHING WE SAW OR WANTED TO ADD DURING THE PROCESS. RICH DID A GREAT JOB ON ADDING STRIPES TO OUR DAUGHTER'S ROOM IN A WONDERFUL PURPLE WHICH SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES. RICHARD DID A GREAT JOB IN THE MASTER BEDROOM AND WAS EASY TO WORK WITH WHEN WE DECIDED TO HAVE AN ACCENT WALL ADDED AT THE LAST MINUTE. THE BATHROOMS CAME OUT GREAT AND THE PLAY ROOM AND POOL TABLE ROOM ARE SO NICE AND WE LOVE JUST HANGING OUT IN THEM AND ENJOY HOW NICE AND COMFORTABLE THEY ARE NOW. THEY ALWAYS CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND KEPT A CLEAN WORKPLACE. I WORK NIGHTS AND THEY WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING AND WORKED WITH ME ON MY SCHEDULE. THEY WORKED EVERY SATURDAY DURING THE JOB WHICH SHOWED ME GREAT DEDICATION AND PRIDE TO THE WORK THEY WERE DOING. MY WIFE AND I ARE VERY HAPPY AND PLEASED WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE AND WE WILL BE CALLING ON R&R PAINTING IN SPRINGFIELD, VT FOR FUTURE INTERIOR WORK IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

They came on time. They did great prep work. After 3 years, The job is holding up really well. They did not have the cheapest estimate, but I think the quality of their work was worth every penny. We plan to have them back soon to touch up the enter or woodwork, kitchen, and add some color to other places in the house.

was there on time ,was very thorough beautiful job cleaned up very reasonable price. basement is dry clean never looked better. very happy with work. would use again

The project went very well. They had to work on the deck between rain storms - but it was done completely, professionally, cleanly.
