CJ'S HOME IMPROVEMENTS

The salesman was very convincing and promised good things. The order was placed on 3/20/14 with a 7-10 week lead time for ordering the doors. After 12 weeks I had not heard anything so I called. They were all apologies and said the doors were in but their installer had been injured and they were running behind. I understand that things happen and was alright with a slight delay. The installer, 1 man, showed up on 7/14/14. Let me see, supposed to be done in May and is being done in July. HMMM! Sending one man to install two very heavy and cumbersome doors did not make sense to me. The installer, a sub contractor, did an excellent job even though the salesman had made some incorrect measurements. He spent the entire day, almost 12 hours doing the job with my help when needed. Two men installing would have made the job quicker. I don't have any complaints about the products. Both doors are very good quality and I am pleased with that. I did have to make some minor adjustments to both doors. I am fairly handy and it was not a problem though I don't feel I should have had to. After the installation I expected to hear from CJ's for a follow up but I heard only silence. I had agreed to have a sign put in my yard and to have before and after pictures taken neither of these happened.

All I did was inquire about needing to get an estimate on a slate roof repair job. They said they do not do slate roofs.
