Description of Work: Removed 7 trees, 2 of which were complicated and a few feet from our house. In addition, climb two large trees, one oak and one sugar maple to remove deadwood and trim.

Description of Work: They removed two dead locust trees and cut the deadwood from 7 others. They had a crew of 4 who climbed and cut the trees. I paid for a 4-person crew for an 8 hour day. Two of the crew members arrived 2 hours late. They still got a lot of work done so I was generally pleased with the service, but I felt that someone should have addressed the fact that there were not 4 people on sight for 8 hours.I would use this service again. |

Description of Work: Trimmed oak tree, cut down birch tree and voluntarily cleared away some old brush from our yard. Very responsive, professional and punctual. Greg was very kind and knowledgeable and the price was right. Would highly recommend to anybody.

Description of Work: Greg & his team: 1) Cabled and trimmed a large maple we faced losing otherwise; 2) Removed two apple trees planted too close to our house 20 years ago; 3) Pruned & raised the crown for an ash tree too close to our house; 4) Removed two large dead elm trees; 5) Removed a dead Ash tree hanging over our driveway. They also returned, upon our request, two weeks later, to grind out one of the removed apple tree stumps to accommodate a screened porch addition project. Greg's son, Micah, will also be back this weekend to split the wood we retained for firewood. | |Per all of the above: Greg was the consummate professional. He responded to our request for a bid within two days and performed the estimate (at no cost) on the third day -- a Saturday. One other large local company with equally high ratings on Angie's list responded on Friday and said they'd have a rep perform an estimate on Monday -- and they never showed up. The third company with good reviews on Angie's list took a week to respond...and then said they'd charge us (I think it was $60) for the estimate. By then: we were already solidly impressed with Teacher's skills, knowledge and capabilities. From past tree removal experience, Greg's cost estimates were very competitive...and he delivered on them as quoted. | |We plan to have Teacher's back this winter to remove two very large trees that are dying (when the ground's frozen) and we hope to have Greg & team perform preventative work as Ash borers reach our northern Vermont realm. | |We are VERY satisfied clients and happy to have found Teacher's.
