Catamount Solar

I first contacted Catamount in January and was given a proposal- site unseen. I was told that I would be contacted again when legislation was passed to allow for new solar customers to sell back to the grid. Instead, I ended up contacting them twice prior to getting a response. We finally set up an appointment for a site visit and I received numerous messages that day regarding the amount of ledge in my town and wondering whether or not the installation would even be possible and whether doing a site visit was a good idea and worth the drive; this was the end of May. Because I did not get the messages in time, the site visit happened but it was clear during it that it did not seem to be a job that they wanted to take on for a variety of reasons. Today, I finally received an email letting me know that they will not be giving me a new proposal because they don't have the needed contractors in my area to work with. I had chosen Catamount instead of another company because their proposal came across as well put together and as though they knew what they were doing. All of the reasons given to me as to why they weren't going to the job were things that could have been told to me in January. Instead, it has taken almost seven months to let me know that they aren't going to do the work and has left me in an awkward position with another company.

Dan Kinney came and gave us an estimate. They helped us to figure out the amount of panels based on our electrical usage. Dan gave us information so we could make an informed decision. Catamount filed for all the necessary permits/Certificates and helped us to figure out our rebates. Our finished system is aesthetically pleasing and doesn't look out of place because of the great job and professionalism. The staff who did the installatin were great - all professional and informative. Highly recommend. Really happy with our project and their warranty is great as well.
