 + -1 moreJohn and his team were great. They did nice work, were trustworthy in my vacant home and were very clean and tidy. The price was fair and reasonable for the level of service they provided.
Description of Work: Installed a new hot water heater, reconnected a well line, installed a new well pressure tank and reworked interior plumbing. Added an outdoor hose connection and laundry connection.

 + -1 moreWe went with John as his bid was lower. He worked alone for most of the project which helped keep costs down. The project did take a long time as he was balancing snow removal with our renovation, but he did explain this before he started. He was very honest and had good ideas; we never thought he was deliberately running up the price or making the project more complex than it needed to be. He was willing to do a few other minor repairs around our home that were needed. He also removed all construction debris and was willing to economize when we asked him to. He also took care of our dog when he was working at the house. We highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Renovated bathroom to include laundry closet, new floor, new walls and ceiling, electrical, plumbing and some minor woodwork.

Description of Work: John showed up w/o his helper worked 2 days starting different task not finishing anything. At the end of second day he demanded payment for work performed before coming back. Once he received his money we did not see him again.

 + 1 moreJohn did an excellent job. The bathroom was in pretty rough shape, and John was creative in how he approached the rebuilding. He was always upfront about the costs and gave me different price options for items like wainscoting and fixtures.I have used John for many projects in my house, and he has always been honest, and has done a high quality job. Once he accepts a job, he shows up until it is finished. He takes away all the construction trash and leaves the work site clean and in order. I would highly recommend John for any job.

 + 3 moreHe is very reasonably priced and reliable. The quailty of his work is excellent--it seems like there is nothing he can't do! He is a huge asset. He is willing to travel a little extra if there is enough work to keep him busy. He's a great resource for indoor work in the off-season winter time. He works independently and is amazing! He is just a very nice person to have around. I've been totally spoiled by how good his service is. He really goes above and beyond!
Description of Work: He helped us a lot, over the course of about a year. He was helping us to get a 75 year old summer home into superb shape. He did carpentry, repairs of the screens, painting, treating the roof to prevent mildew and made some walkways and steps, as well as installed railings along those. He also did plumbing work and was able to take care of an invasion of mice that we had.
