John showed up right on time, did all the work I requested, and was cordial and professional. After he left, I notice an adjacent switch to one that he had installed no longer worked (it was something I had installed previously) and he immediately returned to see what the problem was. As it turned out, a wire had pulled loose and he fixed it quickly. I would highly recommend John, and intend to hire him again in the future.

Not only did John call me on the same day I called him but he came out that day to start the job! I had been searching for John for some time now. I'd had used him when I first came to Vermont. He had left the state briefly and the number I had for him was disconnected :(. John explains what he is going to do. He cleans up after himself. He is very professional. He had to come back with additional materials on a second day but he trouble shot the problem before going onto his next job. All I can say about John is that you get what you pay for. John came in and fixed my problems another person had done. I'm am extremely happy. In a way I don't want to write this review as I'm afraid John will become so busy it may be hard to contact him in the future. I realize though good services are hard to find. Do your self a favor and at least give him a call before using someone and having to repair what was not done correctly.

It required removing old unit and cutting a hole to install a metal junction box to make the unit up to code. He was on time and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a competent job.

John was very thorough. He explained what he was doing. His work was neat and clean. We have not had any electrical problems since John completed the work. Although the cost was expensive I dont have any reason to believe that Johns hourly rates are out line with the market place.

John Draper was great -- very communicative, did work on a Saturday for a very reasonable fee - great experience overall.

We are undergoing a fairly extensive remodel on a vacation home in Stowe, VT. John has been very responsive and has taken care of everything we have asked quickly and efficiently. His work is very high quality and he is very pleasant to work with AND he works well with our general contractor.

I'm very happy with the outcome . The price was very fair. John was responsive to my phone calls and showed up when he said would, thought creatively about the possibilities in my very old house where nothing is straightforward, and before he left he did a great job of cleaning up the work area.

We contacted a few electricians in the area to see if they were available to do this work. We contacted Draper Electric and explained what we needed and provided him with a copy of the inspection report. John came out the very next day to look at first-hand what needed to be done. He came out when he said he would and called us to say that it would take a half-day to make all of the repairs. He also said that he could complete the work that day if we wanted. The quote that he gave us was very fair. Based on some other work that we had done recently by another electrician, his quote was about half what we had expected the repairs to cost. When we got home that day, the work was finished and he had even left us an itemized invoice without us needing to ask for one. Overall, John was professional, competent, prompt, and provided a high level of service. John actually came out and had already completed the work before one of the other electricians we contacted had even returned our call. If the need ever arose, we would definitely hire John do other electrical work for us.

He seems knowledgeable of his trade and is willing to share his knowledge. His prices seemed very fair. I felt I got good value for my money. I will definetly use him again.
