My husband and I decided it was time to downsize dramatically when we moved back to the west coast. We were concerned that we have reliable, skilled and professional movers to handle our prized antiques, removing them from our home in the country to an antique dealer's shop. The last movers we had hired two years ago on a cross country move had destroyed approximately $3k worth of furniture, so we were quite concerned that this not happen again!! Dartmouth Moving and Storage did a great job. Two men did all the work and protected the furniture well. All items arrived in good condition and the movers were prompt and courteous. Good job! Reasonable price too.

Daniels Moving and Storage saved my life at the last minute! My other big national mover bagged out me at the last minute. I had to move my 90 year old mom from Pittsburgh to Vermont during a certain week. There was no choice. I was desperate and stressed. There were so many details, and the mover was not supposed to fall through! I called Daniels, which I should have done in the first place. They just happened to be going through Pennsylvania within that week. Not only were they very professional, they were friendly and on time. Sherilyn at the office, and Chris, the driver were amazing. Chris was very kind to my mom and took utmost care with her stuff. His assistants were very professional also. On top of that, their price was the best! How good is that?!

The driver was on time, courteous, and professional. He actually lives in the Upper Valley, and seemed to enjoy moving someone to this area. There was some frustration on the part of the driver (who contracts for Dartmouth Moving) that they did not line up people to help unload the truck, and he had to make his own arrangements. On this end of the move, they were great - trying to get furniture where we wanted it until it was obvious there was no way to get it through the door.We had some breakage, but I think that was due to an inexperienced packer in Denver.

I called this company looking for climate controlled storage. They were currently full, but the gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and suggested another company that he uses when he needs more storage. He was helpful and courteous and you don't always find that in today's world.

Company referred to me by many friends and associates. They promptly sent out an employee to give me an estimate. The original estimate for the move was $1450.00 (final cost $1250.00). No pressure to add extra expenses such as packing and packing materials. Because of their knowledge of the area of the destination, they were able to accurately plan for the only possible and least expensive way to reach the house. On moving day they were on time, courteous, and efficient. Everything reached the destination undamaged. All items were moved to the locations I specified inside the house. Very pleased with this companies price and performance. You pay for what you get.
