The work on the part of the crew, for the most part, was done well. There were some minor mistakes but nothing that didn't "come out in the wash"... The most challenging part was the invoicing. From the beginning it was problematic. My suggestions for clarity were ignored. When we had to deal with a loan company about half-way through the project we began to get 2 sets of invoices, one for the lender, and one for us. This never made sense and I requested it stop but it did not stop. In the end, in order to do taxes I had to ask for copies of materials invoices, something I have never had to do with other carpenters. I got them but what a bother! I never felt comfortable with the business side of the company. Even though the work was good I could not work with them again based on this. They would be great for someone who isn't as concerned as we have had to be about where the money went.
