Things went well once they came. The challenge in VT is that Parker serves the whole state and offers specialized services so if you need them quick it can be a challenge to get them. That said, though we waited a couple days, they did accurately diagnose our problem and were able to fix it successfully on the first and only visit. We know that we have an additional repair in our future as a result of this visit, but now we can save for it. The repair is holding so far and we are pleased. The bill was very reasonable.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and did a temporary repair on well tank.

Description of Work: |This required 2 visits. The first time he came out and checked everything and gave a suggestion to correct the problem -we had NO water- this worked but on the 5th day it stopped again. we called and a 2man crew showed up within hours and discovered the pump had stopped and needed to be replaced. They accomplished this in no time and then checked all the faucets to verify all were working. Even took the faucet apart and cleaned the screen. I can't comment on the cost as we have not yet been billed. We are certainly pleased with the professionalism the employees exhibited and the speedy response time from our telephone calls to their arrival.

April'13: we were out planting around the well head and noticed what appeared to be another bore hole about 3 feet from the well. We hadn't noticed this before. I called Parker Wells and our call was returned quickly. After I explained the situation, the owner, Dave Parker, said he would come a take a look. He drove 80 miles to get from his location to ours, assessed the problem and corrected. He refused several attempts on my part to pay him for time and materials. I have no hesitation in recommending him; he stands by his work.
Description of Work: This water well was a new installation and required drilling to a little over 400 feet. I mention that as the cost of a well is dependent on a "cost per foot" as well as other materials such as casing, pumps, pressure tank, etc. The work was performed on schedule and at the price estimated; there were no surprises. The work was clean and there were no materials left after it was completed. The well has been in use since June '12 with not a problem (see below). There is plenty of water pressure and we have never gotten ahead of supply. The decision to go to 400 feet was the correct one.
