 + 1 moreAs a result of cleaning chimney, I was notified by Chris that the chimney was a hazard and unsafe. The chimney liner was cracked and use would be a hazard to my family. At the same time I was looking to install a fireplace woodstove insert. Communication with Chris and Harry was nothing less than professional and positive. They were concerned for my families safety. The chimney liner has been replaced and the insert installed. When I came in after Black Magic completed the work. it was as though they were never here, except for the addition of my woodstove and the chimney extension. Chris notified me that all was safe and I was able to use my stove. My family was no longer in an unsafe situation and we can now look forward to a warm winter. Thank you, Harry, and Chris!

Description of Work: Fantastic! Chris and his team did a really thorough job of sweeping my chimneys including the furnace and even offered me the extra service for my dryer vent. They went above and beyond to make my fireplace safe. | |When I called for an appointment to look at my fireplace, the receptionist was really FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. They set the appointment and had to change it once but made every effort to make it work in my calendar. Then, the technician came and did an inspection to make sure my concerns were taken care of. When they were done, the place was SPOTLESS. I've never worked with someone in the trades in Vermont that cared like Chris did. Thanks Black Magic. I'm referring you to everyone I meet.

 + -1 moreWhile getting ready for bed on Christmas night, I noticed smoke coming from my woodstove pipes. I shut down the woodstove but it was smoking into the house so I put the fire out. The next morning Lacy came to my house to make sure I was safe. He found the chimney was almost completely blocked. Thank you for taking care of me any my family. I appreciate your work and commitment.
