MAHEUX HEATING & REFRIGERATION

Description of Work: They replaced the "guts" of oil heating system entirely in 2008: boiler, distribution pumps, and hot-water heater. The work was done very professionally and quickly, and they returned about a year later and replaced the hot-water tank. They had apparently been notified that there was an electrolysis problem with the model they had originally installed and replaced it free. I did notice that they had reverse-plumbed the input and output ports of the hot-water tank, but it still seems to work fine. | |There are apparently two Maheuxes in Jericho, and if I understand correctly, they do not get along. A couple of years after the work described here, a tenant in our house called the "wrong" one, and he told us that when he later called the one in this review someone on the phone gave him a very hard time about trying "that crook:" the other Maheux. I was unable to confirm anything about two different Maheuxes in Jericho by chatting with neighbors or searching the web, but if there are two, I can only vouch for the one with this phone number and address.

Description of Work: Ron and his son installed a split air conditioner system in our condo. It consisted of an outside compressor and three heads in the house.

Description of Work: This father and son team installed a 36,000 BTU Fujitsu Halycycon multi system and three wall mounted units, 18,000 BTU, 12,000 BTU and a 7,000 BTU, on my main floor level. They contracted to have my upper story ducted and then they installed a Heil 16 Seer Condensing Unit behind my garage and a Heil High Efficiency Fan Coil with ECM motor in my attic over the garage.
