Mark was extremely prompt responding to my emergency, left a current project with the approval of that client, to quickly help me out at the beginning of a holiday weekend, and came in within the estimate of another company who couldnâ t get to me until the following week. I would have had to stay in a hotel.

Mark Talbert padded the bill by charging 3 times the National average for emergency rates for a job that was performed during normal weekday working hours. He destroyed my buried power line and refused to communicate his contractor liability insurance information or take responsibility for the damage. He repeatedly refused any discussion, maintaining his billing at $500/hour using a lawyer. This forced the victimized homeowner to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau and a complaint with the Vermont State Office of Professional Regulation. This is an unethical company that doesnâ  t hesitate to jack their bills and disrespect customers. I recommend finding a different contractor to avoid any bad surprises.
