Arthur Fortunati Painting

They did a great job. Very professional, very timely. They cleaned up everything. On time, on budget, great. It was about a 3 week job. Was recommended by well known area realtor, he did her house too. Would recommend and will use again - when we paint exterior.

He did a fine job on both rooms. Frankly, I thought it was pricey, though I've been told that's what painters charge (I usually do all of our painting myself). My only quibble was that he (or his assistant) left our key under a planter pot and didn't let us know that. I spent a day or two trying to reach him by phone to find out where the key was, as we had a tenant about to move in. I only wish he'd have given us a call about it.

We bought a house whose walls/ceilings were in bad shape. We called two different recommended local contractors -- they said repairs could be done by a good skilled painter, and gave us a short list of names to call. Both contractors said Arthur Fortunati had done good work for them, and had good things to say about him. Arthur came by, took a look at things, and got us an estimate. We liked him, and the price seemed fair (we didn't solicit other bids, but we compared the numbers with friends/family who'd had similar work done). This was our first time hiring a painter. We are very happy with Arthur's work. Everything he did looks great. He came in right on estimate. He explained his plan clearly, and everything went according to plan. He referred us to the store where he gets his paints, and they helped us choose a product and shade. He did a fine job with the zero-VOC paint we chose. He brought in an additional employee -- they were always on-time, and worked hard all day, and made progress whether I was there or not. I'm pretty finicky, and they responded well to my ongoing requests. They did a good job cleaning up and making sure everything was done to my standards. Last but not least, Arthur's a nice guy and was fun to have around. We'll definitely hire him again.
