About us

Environmental Foam of Vermont was founded in January of 1996 in search of a green building insulation that would provide relief from the common problems experienced in the Vermont market. Open-cell foam insulation was selected for its green building rating, zero emissions & spray-in-place qualities. It was installed in the Owners home in the fall of 1995 and monitored throughout the winter months. Since 2010, we have also offered highest quality Johns Manville products including JM Spider™ custom installation systems, JM Climate Pro™ Blow-In fiberglass Insulation, and certified formaldehyde-free fiberglass insulation. Description of Work: They blew in insulation in our attic and spray foamed the exterior walls of our basement. His price was lower than some and a little more than others. | |I am very satisfied with the work performed and Kent did an excellent job. He crawled into places that not a lot of service providers would have. | |They also cleaned the attic of old insulation and sealed the top plates and light fixtures prior to blowing in the insulation. Others had said they would blow insulation over existing insulation. Not recommended. | |My only issue with him was his response time to emails and phone calls. Other than that I would recommend them to anyone.

Great job. Awesome people. Gave me lots of recommendations of other good people for a variety of things from contractors to tile installers. Professional, arrived on time and had excellent communication about things. He even gave me money back when he realized the quote included something they didn't spray. That made me feel really happy about my choice. Great work.
Description of Work: Spray foamed my walls and ceiling. Adding additional fiberglass to the ceiling as well.
