George was wonderful! He did an excellent job on time, and within budget. He even figured out that I had a bad pump on my furnace that isn't even a plumber's expertise but he was able to figure it out and fixed my hot water issue without me having to call a furnace guy. After using a couple of plumbers in the past that took advantage of the fact I am a single woman that knows nothing about plumbing and got ripped off, it is a pleasure to finally find a plumber I can trust and that will give me a good job at a fair price. I will definitely call JR's plumbing for future needs.

George was busy so it took a little while to set up our appointment but when the day came he arrived on time and did what needed to be done efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. I was very happy with the work done. I have had George do work for me in the past so this was no surprise. He may be the best service person I've ever had do work for me. I will be installing a new shower soon and George set me up with contacts to do the carpentry work and review my options for replacing the shower. I will be hiring George to do the plumbing work on that project too.

George does everything to the letter of the code regulations. I felt he was very knowledgable and provided a great end result for me. He arrived as scheduled and got the work done in the planned time.

All was done very well and quickly. Consult was very helpful, at no charge. George, most of the time, actually answers his phone. If he doesn't, he is quick to call back - a huge plus. He charges for his time and materials only, without an add-on "house call" fee. And George really knows what he is doing. Highly recommended.

I wish all service providers were like George Corrow from Jr's Plumbing & Heating. I called based on Angie's list recommendations and left a message that I had a very leaky outside faucet. It was immediately replied to by someone who told me they would be passing the message on and gave me George's cell phone if I wanted to reach him faster. George called me that night and we arranged a time when he could come. He came as agreed and after sizing up the situation we agreed to replace the faucet and at my request add a water cutoff. He finished the job professionally and quickly, charged me his costs for the faucet and a very reasonable rate for his time. I am extremely happy with both the service and cost relating to this work. I would most certainly want to do business with him in the future.

George is awesome. Responds to call in an appropriate time frame, shows up on time, does excellent work, is courteous, and charges reasonably for his services. I would use him in a heartbeat for my plumbing needs.

I have used Ryan for 20+ years. They are great.

George put the cartridge and valves back together and I asked him what I owed him. He said I didn't need to pay him, as we didn't finish the job, but I gave him a generous tip for his time and gas expense. The distance George had to travel was about 13 miles one way (25 minutes). Not often do you find anyone with this caliber of professionalism and sensitivity to his customer. The happy conclusion was that the shower stopped leaking w/o a new cartridge probably due to the work done to take it apart. I suspect that some calcification was preventing the cartridge from closing completly. If the problem returns, I will definitely call George.

Some of the problems were obvious to George, so he started there. He fixed them, then tested, tested, tested. The testing turned up other leaks, including the disposal not being properly seated. After each fix, he tested multiple times until all the problems were resolved and all leaks fixed, then tested again. The multiple tests were important, as sometimes the first or even second test did not show another problem. On the way out, he emphasized to call him if a new problem showed up, as he stands by his work. I have waited to enter this report to use the sinks and dishwasher. All is well. No leak! I am very happy.

All went very well. George arrived on time with the toilets and all the tools needed to install them. The bolts connecting the old toilets were rusted, so he had to cut them to be able to remove the toilets. It was a warm, muggy morning, but George just kept at it. All the work was done in good time. He checked the connections of the new toilets and encouraged me to do the same. I am very happy with his work and the new toilets. He is already booked solid this week, so suggested I call him next Monday to schedule some other work under my kitchen sink.

George was honest, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Super job. Small drip from connection between old drain pipe and new sink pipe. George came out that day to fix it.

My voice mail was never returned. I will never use this plumber for future problems as I've found someone who is responsive and fixed my issue.

The installation was very professional. George knows what he is doing. The biggest problem we had was that the escutcheon plate on the valve George brought was too small to cover the existing opening so we had to order a new one, which delayed the installation about 2 weeks. Once the part was in we were able to schedule a time for George to come over and complete the installation. George also tends to favor the products from FW Webb, which are high quality but more expensive that your similar products from Lowe's or Home Depot. Overall we were pleased with the work and would use JR's Plumbing & Heating again.

George was very good, it took us a while to figure out where the leak was coming from, once we realized it was a crack in the water pump, he replaced it in short time. George was great, I will use him again.

Excellent! - always a pleasure having George around. He was even able to suggest an alternate way to run water to the washer to save on time and materials. I've had George work on various projects including a complete renovation of a house to 4 apartments. He is respectful and honest and I always look forward to seeing him again. Not only did he do an excellent job with the plumbing but also made beneficial recommendations throughout the project on construction and tradesmen to hire. It's hit or miss when securing the services of a trade professional. George is certainly a hit and I won't be looking for a replacement anytime in the foreseeable future.

Replaced two faucets, cut and capped pipe in basement, adjusted water pressure and installed pressure gauge. The work was done in a couple of hours. George was very friendly and professional. I would recommend him to anyone. |
